Personally I think it should be something that has the word "Simple" at the beginning, since that is honestly what characterizes the game itself.
Personally I can't think of a name after "simple" but I think it should be something related, unless it's called "Simple space program" or "Simple Space Simulator". If I don't add the "Space simulator" or "spaceflight simulator" before it, its just for not to collide with other renowned games.
I suspect that if they want to give it a name it would be the best way, since it respects in a certain way (from my point of view) the origin of the game. I think so
Apart from the structures, the fundamental thing is the location, for easy access, either the equator or poles, although if you have a station in orbit the best is the equator, in terms of parts a Multimodular system is efficient, although if you are new it is recommended not very complex temporary bases, so that you do not get saturated with the administration load. for more advanced things it is better to send prefabricated structures with a specific purpose although not terribly complex, believe me it is not much the case to design such elaborate interiors for That they are abandoned, it is better small and useful modules such as rovers, landers and an emergency system. I really appreciate your proposal, I have my own rockets, (somewhat obsolete) but reliable, your proposal is really excellent, even if I have a satellite or ship available I will upload it and without problems. You can add your commercial rocket, at the moment my satellite has already been launched, although if I propose something new I will comment on your posts.
I suspect the observation base is obvious, difficult to find but somewhat obvious since, well, you have a military air base in the desert so you need to be on the lookout for unwanted intruders.
In itself it is relatively easy, to make your custom landing legs use Struts, it is not necessary to modify anything, of course, the side actuators are a good option they support a lot of tons, (10,000 to maximum 50,000 kg) although it will depend on the length of them so that your engines do not collide, you can check my landers, the force-ratio relationship trick strength-weight are on the legs. Even so, for me they are the best engines I have tried, yes, I admit that the sacrifice is low isp and you are patient, but I think they are two sacrifices that are worth it.
I think the reason is clear, although without xml I have found a way to give them a practical use although apparently (I think, now it is more my perspective) nuclear engines require some study for its correct use although sacrificing your patience
If what you want is fuel efficiency, try to adjust the performance of the engine you need, type of fuel and type of engine (Liquid, solid, Nuclear or Ions) and the type of fuel. Believe me learning that has led me to greater efficiency and reliability without resorting to too many editing resources.
