I'm working on this in my spare time but I hope to make a lot of the parts. I'm not that great at modeling yet, so hopefully this is practice. Nothing you see here is final. It will hopefully be made better by the release. If anyone has a tutorial for modeling skills, hopfully that won't take too long :D
@RailfanEthan disagreement being solved using a sort of military of which the event if this disagreements are taking place in orbit of some larger mass
May I direct your attention to the "suggestions" tab up top? There are several people with similar ideas and you can upvote them there (uservoice) to get then seen by devs. Devs actually look at that stuff rather than occasionally here
Sending humans? NASA for sure... BFR still needs to be built and human tested. Considering the dragon capsule has taken years of refinement and testing before being human rated (officially coming this dec) I think it's fair to say NASA is ahead of the curve.
Actually... a date has been given several times. September 22 is the last day of summer, and Andrew has mentioned the game will most likely be released on steam before then.
Multiplayer will be WAY not fun in SR2 because you will
- not be able to accelerate time
- cripple computers with high part counts (something SP doesn't have to worry about)
- be waiting longer as devs haven't built the game on that platform or be willing to wait as someone makes a mod in their own time for multiplayer. Just Saying
I'm with @Tully2001 on this. I'd say it's safe to say it will be an easier transition from sp to sr2 than most think. Though that's pretty much all based on the fact that we saw a shuttle in promo material and both sr1 and sp also had keyboard controls.
I'd recommend looking at past game development cycles. Devs can add all the cool stuff, but then have to fix everything when the new stuff doesn't play nice together. I'm going to assume considering pixelpop and all, that they have all the fun stuff in for the most part, and now they gotta fix all the bugs. Which is good. Means closer to steam release.
@Bmcclory just a small home made one I creatively dubbed "The Extra Parts Mod 2". Nothing special, just some added textured fuelsalage, 1/4 struts, and a few other things.
@Bmcclory thanks! I will let you know when I start on it
5.9 years agoUm.. cant tell if this is serious.. call the emergency number for your country.

6.2 years ago@Venus flags have been confirmed a no go for now
6.2 years ago@RailfanEthan it will be a fight to be remembered
+1 6.2 years ago@RailfanEthan @Tully2001 no you're both wrong ... I am

6.2 years ago@RailfanEthan pesant, I enjoy the comforts of all 6 dimensions from the void. Truly that is the master dimension

6.3 years agoI believe all SP users were auto transferred to this site.
6.3 years agoCan confirm @RailfanEthan is right. Andrew has mentioned this in the past

6.3 years ago@tsampoy I mean... your last post mentioned nowhere that it was about a mod. But hey i guess if that's what you meant ok.
6.3 years agoNow THIS is the high quality content I subbed for!
+3 6.3 years ago@CommanderSword Sorry the joke is over.
6.3 years agoAll jokes aside. I would fully support an independent modder who thinks they can get around the major issues. Full power to ya!
6.3 years agoMultiplayer will be WAY not fun in SR2 because you will

6.3 years agoAre well talking steam release or full release?

6.3 years ago@Bmcclory were you saved or sent to the soul stone?
6.3 years ago@Bmcclory @MrTaco perfectly balanced, as all things should be...
6.3 years ago@MrTaco nope, you can land these babies on the smoon and do a full take off without RSS

6.3 years ago@Awsomur whata star wars nurd :P
6.3 years ago@Bmcclory it may not. It's a new version of unity I think.
+1 6.3 years agoI'd suggest using the suggestion button. Devs see it
6.3 years agoAndrew has said September 22 is the end of summer. I have a feeling well get it before then though. Less features and assuming more bug fixes
+2 6.3 years ago@MrTaco just regular old Simple Rockets
6.3 years ago@MrTaco why call it SR1 if there isn't a sequel?
6.3 years ago@Bmcclory fixed, also yes, aero effect is good too.
6.3 years agoThanks!
