The camera zoom is quadratic or logarithmic not linear, which aids construction of crafts of varying sizes.
You can also turn off “auto-rotate” if you want to connect a part in a certain orientation. You can also use the offset and rotate tool to move your battery anywhere and in any orientation.
You also just described the bug in this forum post. What prevents you from writing the same description in the bug tracker?
Ok. Also, why do you have ullage motors on the first stage pointing up?
Ullage motors are used to settle fuel/propellant in the bottom of the tank so that the engines would suck in fuel/propellant rather than inert gasses. They are typically on inflight-ignited stages, pointing downward, and fires before the main engines ignite for orbital insertion or adjustments. RCS could also function as ullage motors.
In your case, I think you meant stage separation motors, as 1) the fuel/propellant in your first stage is already settled down because of gravity and 2) ullage motors point backwards rather than forwards.
@HubsBeats at least half a year away
5.7 years ago@AndrewGarrison the engines are overpowered. Their Isp is too high and they are too light for the performance that they deliver.
