@Dunatian271 not really, KSP all though a creative game is about 0% creativity compared to SP2. Some of the functions that are being "ripped off from ksp" are actually almost like required functions in a rocket building sandbox game. You have to remember that KSP is just about the only 3d rocket building sandbox game out there right now (pls don't hate if im wrong lol) and so you cant say everything is a ripoff of KSP, if this is a ripoff of KSP too you i think you need to look back through the posts and recognize how SP2 is a unique game, as are all Jundroo games. There creativity levels are always infinite due too the customization (you can change size,shape, buoyancy, weight etc.) while in KSP customization is limited by the fact that there are limited parts (although there is clipping allowed but that just dosen't seem right, and neither does the "KSP way" a.k.a strap a bunch of struts to it :D). So a message to everyone SIMPLE ROCKETS 2 IS NOT A RIPOFF OF KSP!!!!!!
@AndrewGarrison I think a great way to improve the User Interface (UI) is to look at all the buttons and see which ones you can remove/combine into one. I also think that the symbols in the GIF (at the bottom) don't fit as they don't seem to represent there functions. I think you should work on unifying the styles of the different UI elements. Even though they are the same vague style some aren't the same narrowed down style as others. I also think that the orbits (for instance the red one in the gif) shouldn't just appear instantly and should somehow be transitioned in. It would add extra polish to the interface. Also moon is blue which i presume means it's selected, my only complaint about this visual is that you can't tell what the body is at a glance. The blue should be made transparent so that you can see the object, kind of like through a blue tint. I also think that the boxes with info on them (the one in the top-right corner) should be just just slightly rounded. I noticed in the image below the GIF the button in the middle (with the play symbol thing) looks a bit squashed, and the rocket engine button looks quite a bit like a brush, as for the last button, there is not much to critique about that one. I just noticed that some of the buttons are a different size compared to others, this would probably be an easy fix. It might seem like i am over-critiquing but hey, you asked for what i would improve :)
Am i the only one wondering what the bugs are that are keeping the game from being released (i also know that they might not have added all the content yet) ?
@AndrewGarrison i just wanted too know, will there be diferent fuels we can pick, e.g solid/liquid and different chemicals etc. I know you said there wouldnt be luqid oxygen :( but will there still be types of fuels to chose from?
@WeSeekANARCHY Yes pushed back a bit because the overall excitment caused them to realize the game should be full 3d not a 2d game with 3d graphics, in a way the game got extended not pushed back.
lol and here i am with my integrated graphics and core i3, still runs at like 25-40 fps :)
i am trying to save money for gaming pc but idk how long that will take lol
@AndrewGarrison Does the amount of points you have affect anything? Because i have 6 points (4 when i submitted the beta test form but i doubt 2 points would matter) and other people have hundreds.
@AndrewGarrison thats great too here :D although that wont stop me from trying ;) and if vanilla fails... i can always mod the game. Im seeing if you added detail in the center of the planet.
@Jetspeed1001 ok :) i wanted to learn c# anyways (right now i only know python, javascript, and even though these arent languages html and css). So you are pretty much saying that XML is a way that i can for instance, make one of the engines be 9000000 power, but i can add anything new or any new textures etc.
