I'm sure you can get that without mods if you make a motor have 0 speed it says "Floppy". I think thats the same for rotators and himges if you set range 0°
@swope Imagine you have your normal body and you add a fairing as thermal protection coating (ablative, ceramic tiles...). You're adding the extra weight of the fairing, and you can tweak the mass of the part in order to simulate the realistic aspect

@Opise227 none of the atributes in the xml seems to modify the plume and I can't find the smoke location, I think it's harcode like the launch site. Do you want to help us with Real Engines mod and Real Solar System? We are currently sorking on xml mods until modtools are released and need some help

@sumeee well, Infinite Fuel adds no consumption versions of all the engines and rcs and we are about to publish the first version of Real Engines
There's also a mod that adds dV, twr... and it existed before that data was shown in the game

@andrewkrause about the pollywell fusion reactor, I don't know if it fits this mod, but I'll add it into my to-do list for another RealismOverhaul mod I have in mind (Concept Engines mod, with solar sails, alcubierre warp drives, EM drives...)
@andrewkrause We are currently researching if it's possible to add new fuels before mod tools are fully released. Sadly it looks like it's not possible
@legohelobilly You go to that place/orbit and save location (I think it was f10 but I'm not sure since I remapped my keys, go to settings and you'll find it)

5.9 years agoYou can use a fairing or a wing with tinkered heat resistance and paint it the same as the in-game heat shield

+4 5.9 years agoYou don't have to overwrite each file, if you uncompress the zip in the Jundroo folder they should go each to it's place
