@Tweedle_Aerospace Thanks! Yeah, I recognize that I post crafts a lot. So many ideas rush through my head all the time. I spend more time building than I spend playing. Perhaps I should mess around more. Thanks for the advice!
https://www.simplerockets.com/c/A6K2M6/FRONTIER-1-INTERPLANETARY-SSTO is one of the first modded ion engine crafts I made: I thought that it was cool but it got zero upvotes.

@Chtite451SR2 docking ports. Small docking ports attract really strongly to large docking ports. So the rover could have a small port and the boat could have a large port.
@Chtite451SR2 I have done a few colonization missions. I drove a rover across Cylero from the equator to the upper pole once and mapped out the locations for over twenty surface bases. Maybe I should do that on other planets to.
@BrTommygun I had an idea about how to transfer astronauts from module to module using chairs. If an astronaut is in one module and sits in a chair that is in another module, they will teleport into that module. This way we can avoid needing custom hollow docking ports. It would be easier to engineer and help keep the part count low.
@BrTommygun ok I downloaded the latest ess earlier today. the prototype core I made does not have an interior but that could be changed. Do you want to make interiors for each of the modules, because my computer is slow and it might be hard on it, however it would be cool to have an interior if we can pull it off. As for the orbit, I think that we should go for a 300 kilometer orbit.
Another good tool for the assembly of the space station that I have made is the e.v.m.u. droid which will be helpful for assembling the modules. I could attach one to the core module.
I am decent at orbital rendezvous but a lot of my crafts use modded engines and that can rendezvous really quickly but I have rendezvoused well with regular rockets as well. I may need to practice though.
I was thinking about building a core module that would be a main segment of the station. It would be a commons area for the astronauts. Perhaps if you were to work on one of the habitation modules and then I can connect them in orbit.
@BrTommygun the modules that are wanted would be: habitation modules, docking ports, solar arrays, science modules, communication arrays, things like that. If I am looking for any other more specific modules I will let everyone involved know. I think that my primary launcher will be able to carry most loads but if it needs something bigger to carry it or you just want to make your own launcher to carry the module then that is fine by me.
@Arstotzka Hmm... I guess your not wrong.
3.9 years ago@Tweedle_Aerospace Ah, that makes sense.
3.9 years ago@Zyvx That makes sense. Thank you. Yeah, the community is pretty great. It's a nice community to be a part of.
+1 3.9 years ago@Tweedle_Aerospace Thanks! Yeah, I recognize that I post crafts a lot. So many ideas rush through my head all the time. I spend more time building than I spend playing. Perhaps I should mess around more. Thanks for the advice!
+1 3.9 years ago@Arstotzka Yeah, I suppose that they don't mean everything.
+1 3.9 years ago@DavidBowieFah Hmm. Motion sensors sound cool. I could experiment with that concept.
3.9 years ago@ItsCat All right. Thanks!
+1 3.9 years agoWow, that's amazing. It looks movie quality. Insane!
3.9 years ago@Tweedle_Aerospace Okay.
3.9 years ago@Chtite451SR2 Right, thank you! I'll check out their script.
3.9 years agoSo excited!! Hope that they get ambient occlusion working on mobile.
+10 3.9 years agoBox with arrow pointing upward out of it in the settings tab in the craft designer.
3.9 years agoSeems like an interesting dynamic.

+1 4.0 years agoAmazing.
+1 4.0 years agoYAY! FINALLY!

4.0 years ago@CashewCashewisacoolcat I will make a demonstration rocket along with instructions and post the link here in a little while.
4.0 years ago@Craigdimension thank you so much! I'll keep making them!
4.0 years agoIndeed. It is my favorite videogame.
4.0 years ago@Chtite451SR2 I've done it before. It's really difficult though. If you dock a small docking port to a large one, it can be done.

+1 4.0 years ago@Chtite451SR2 that would work!
4.0 years ago@Chtite451SR2 or you could have a boat with a small rover on board.
4.0 years ago@CELESTIAL1 yeah.
+1 4.0 years ago@Chtite451SR2 I have done a few colonization missions. I drove a rover across Cylero from the equator to the upper pole once and mapped out the locations for over twenty surface bases. Maybe I should do that on other planets to.
4.0 years ago@Chtite451SR2 that would be awesome. Nebra would be a great place to colonize.
4.0 years agoOoh, is that the outlander in the corner?
4.0 years agoBeautiful.
+1 4.0 years agoThank you devs for making this update. Simplerockets 2 is an amazing game.
+2 4.1 years agoHuzzah! It has arrived! So excited!
4.1 years ago@BrTommygun cool. It will be a great ship for the job.
4.2 years ago@BrTommygun I think that we should communicate in the comments.
4.2 years ago@BrTommygun I don't have discord.
4.2 years ago@BrTommygun the final version of the core module is under construction.
4.2 years agoThey will also just be places astronauts can sit.
4.2 years agoMakes sense. They will just be normal chairs but they can be used to jump around between the modules.
4.2 years ago@BrTommygun I had an idea about how to transfer astronauts from module to module using chairs. 4.2 years ago@BrTommygun nice diagram by the way.

4.2 years ago@BrTommygun I have created a prototype core module. it may need more details but it's a start.
4.2 years ago@BrTommygun also what solar system should it be in?
4.2 years ago@BrTommygun do you think the station should have an Interior? may be hard to engineer if it has an interior, not to mention the high part count.
+1 4.2 years ago@HSH it is true that there are a lot of these challenges, but I don't think it would be a problem if there were multiple community space stations.
4.2 years ago@BrTommygun perhaps you could send me a link in the comments.
