Make sure we can turn this off on an emgine-by-engine basis in XML. Some old crafts with internal engines may be broken because the thrust from the engines would be blocked.
@HorizonsTechnologies That's why I suggested a password lock. For serious physics classes, the tinker panel can be disabled and locked behind a password. For creative exercises, the educator can unlock it.
@Chtite451SR2 @DrexxVolv I'm thinking about a piston mechanism, but can't get the pistons to extend far enough. I tried stacking multiple pistons, but it started bending under the weight of the container. I'll probably use Overload on my laptop to make a really long piston or something.
@YaMomzBox420 The pictures seem to be working on my tablet, but only one loads on my phone. It might be an issue with having a smaller screen or an issue with mobile data.
@YaMomzBox420 I think you still have to switch between translation and standard controls even if you have them on different keybinds, but I haven't tried it. It could probably be added on mobile just with a second set of joysticks.
@HorizonsTechnologies I honestly don't know how any of it works. I've tried before but nothing works. For example, I tried to make a program that plays a tone if my altitude drops below 100 meters. It looked like this
On start
If (ALTITUDE [AGL]) = 100 then
Beep freq. of c# octave 3 at 1 volume for 5 seconds.
@plane918273645 I tried some other things, like messing with layer height, infill, and even the scale of the model itself, but I think it just made it worse. The entire top layer of the print looks strange in a way that I do not have the know-how to explain. Here's an Imgur link. http://imgur.com/a/tiy6Apl I'm using an Ender 3 Pro 3d printer.
I'm saving up for fans. My area is usually cold during the school year. It rarely ever goes above 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Some of the newer offices and some classrooms have window A/C units, but mine doesn't. It just sucks when you forget to bring your water bottle and get extremely thirsty when the class you're in doesn't have A/C and the water fountains got closed from (current events)
@DrexxVolv It was, I changed the name to be more like the ship in the game "Pioneer Space Sim" that it was based off of. Nerodia Rhombifer is just the scientific name for a Diamondback Watersnake anyway. By the way, It's out now.
@DrexxVolv It's almost done. I'm literally writing the description right now. Unfortunately, there will be no video because my editing software crashed and corrupted the video file.
@AshtvinayakAerospace I already fixed that and redid the work from an old backup. Unfortunately, while it isn't crashing anymore, half of the craft is completely broken because I accidentally detached a part and can't reattach it.
I finally figured it out. Type AG # (yes, 3 spaces, # is a number) in the input area. I learned this from looking at the pistons in StarbornCelestial1's Apex 1.
Voting has ended as of two hours ago. The cockpit will be on the right side because that was the first real answer. The question was either left or right, so even though center was the most popular vote, it will not be used because it wasn't a choice in the first place.
I'm trying to make a better profile picture because mine is ugly and literally made in MS Paint in 10 minutes. I just have to learn how to use Photoshop
Maybe a paid 3D printing service, like what we used to have in simple planes.

+3 2.7 years ago@HorizonsTechnologies I think it limits creativity. Maybe it could be up to the educator to decide using a password-locked setting.
+2 3.2 years ago@SCaxaR Thanks! I'll study the code.

"P" in the comments to pre-order. (You will be tagged when the vehicles release.)

@DrexxVolv @ChalxAerospace Basically, people steal things from school bathrooms and post videos of it on TikTok

3.3 years ago@DrexxVolv I can make planes. I have a jet drone uploaded already.
3.4 years ago@Chtite451SR2 @DrexxVolv I've decided that the mechanism to move the container will now be part of a terminal tractor.
3.4 years ago@Chtite451SR2 Oh yeah I forgot about that
3.4 years ago@DrexxVolv I guess I could. Maybe the Dolphin Mk-II could be converted to a small personal transport.

3.4 years ago@Chtite451SR2 It has the suggestion tag. I thought that would work.
3.4 years ago@DrexxVolv this was what I originally had in mind when designing the original Dolphin, but I didn't know how to make working VTOLs at the time.

3.4 years ago@DrexxVolv I did save half way through. The file got corrupted. The game crashes whenever I try to load it.
