@Ryn176 Implementing planet rendering has changed the way a lot of stuff works. Everything needs to be rendered a bit differently if it's in an atmosphere vs in space (or on a planet that has no atmosphere). To support those different environments, we had to rewrite all of the shaders.
@XxCaitlinxX We haven't decided yet. Most likely it will be the same price as SimplePlanes: $4.99 mobile, and $12.99 PC, but we aren't promising anything yet.
@mikethespike056 We actually already have that implemented. You can toggle an individual engine on/off or put multiple engines in an activation group and turn them on/off together.
@SledDriver You won't be able to turn off the mesh and customize its appearance. Maybe a different kind of rotator could be designed to help players make their own landing legs. There is some wobble, and I can only imagine that it increases with the size of the craft, unfortunately.
@deokil1108 Our drag model takes air density into account, so the physics is already there. We don't have any other elements yet, such as heat and visuals, but that is on the list. Can't say for sure if it will make early access or not.
@Ryn176 Hard to say for sure with that device. It only has 1GB of RAM and I can't find any information about what shader model it supports. We will require SM3.0 with SR2. Not all of the older Android devices support that.
We aren't sure yet what the PC requirements will be yet, but we do plan to have a lot of quality settings so old computers can still run it. As for mobile, my current goal is for it to run on an iPhone 6 and a Samsung Galaxy S6. What are your specs?
@GR00G0 We make this stuff because you all use it in amazing ways and we want to make sure you can build pretty much anything in SR2 that you could build in SimplePlanes. We will have some stock options available too.
@DemonSniper8 No projected month yet. We're still just sticking to Q2. Anytime I pick a date, the universe immediately works against us to make sure we will miss it.
@Ihavenorealideawhatiamdoing We will first launch early access on Steam and then when the game is getting close to final release we will most likely do some beta testing on iOS and Google Play. That won't happen until much later this year.
@EternalDarkness Fuselages will have buoyancy and some planets will have water, so hopefully those two things play nicely together. No plans for prop engines.
That was the most exciting launch I can remember. Unbelievable that they landed those two boosters at the same time. Oh, and I'm glad they didn't crash into your house, though it's certainly worth the risk if you were able to see it going up!
@Alienbeef0421 I wish!
6.7 years ago@JoshMan Fairings are coming. We still have some challenges to overcome, but they are a must-have in a space sim.
+2 6.8 years ago@chancey21 Yes they are (or will be). Thanks!
6.8 years ago@JoshMan Solar panels will be customizable, but via the part properties menu and not dragging gizmos around. I'll try and cover those next week.
+1 6.8 years ago@SeanTurbineModifier It looks like your account is confirmed, so you should be good now.

6.8 years agoSure, I don't have any problems with it.
6.8 years ago@Creeperslayerz Too many to count XD
+3 6.8 years ago@Jarebear10 We do have plans for something like that, but that won't be until after early access release.
6.8 years ago@Jarebear10 Not sure yet, but probably around 8 on PC, some with moons.
6.8 years agoGreat story. Now I know that it is imperative that we have copious amounts of cheese on the moon.
+2 6.8 years ago@Ryn176 We've rewritten every shader for SR2.
6.8 years ago@XxCaitlinxX We haven't decided yet. Most likely it will be the same price as SimplePlanes: $4.99 mobile, and $12.99 PC, but we aren't promising anything yet.
+1 6.8 years ago@Cape6 Yes, fuselage pieces will be very customizable. You can make square edges, rounded edges, and even a combination of the two.
6.8 years ago@Planefun Someday we hope to have humans. Our command pods are not rated for humans yet, so everything is unmanned.
6.8 years ago@mikethespike056 We actually already have that implemented. You can toggle an individual engine on/off or put multiple engines in an activation group and turn them on/off together.

6.8 years ago@Fjorge Nope :) it's just a shadow.
6.8 years ago@carrot2110 Yes, you will be able to launch many crafts into space at once.
6.8 years ago@mikethespike056 No plans for that currently, but docking is very hard and that would be nice.
6.8 years ago@Ihavenorealideawhatiamdoing There will be many, many ways.
6.8 years ago@KidKromosone If you've got the skills, I'm sure you could make one.
+2 6.8 years ago@Awsomur In campaign mode, you'll be able to get money back if you don't destroy rocket parts.
+2 6.8 years ago@MrTaco 6x symmetry is max.
6.8 years ago@Bmcclory No, we're still struggling with what to name it.

+2 6.8 years ago@Ryn176 Yes, price will vary with size.
6.8 years ago@SledDriver Yes, they can be wobbly if you attach very heavy stuff together with them. It's a limitation of the physics engine, unfortunately.
6.8 years ago@GR00G0 We make this stuff because you all use it in amazing ways and we want to make sure you can build pretty much anything in SR2 that you could build in SimplePlanes. We will have some stock options available too.
+3 6.8 years ago@Shmexysmpilot Not currently. Same limitations as SP.
6.8 years ago@DemonSniper8 No projected month yet. We're still just sticking to Q2. Anytime I pick a date, the universe immediately works against us to make sure we will miss it.
+4 6.8 years ago@Ihavenorealideawhatiamdoing We will first launch early access on Steam and then when the game is getting close to final release we will most likely do some beta testing on iOS and Google Play. That won't happen until much later this year.
6.8 years ago@chancey21 yep! They are the same lovely pistons from SP.
6.8 years ago@Ryn176 We're not sure yet. The PC build is currently over 500MB and that will keep going up, of course.
+1 6.8 years ago@Griffinthedragon The tools will be at your disposal. If you are creative enough you could make it happen.
6.8 years ago@Why7090 No, it will be a separate purchase.
6.8 years ago@GermanWarMachine Yep
6.8 years ago@EternalDarkness Fuselages will have buoyancy and some planets will have water, so hopefully those two things play nicely together. No plans for prop engines.
6.8 years ago@MrTaco No, but we may have a simulation mode where the player can set some stuff like that. A simulation inside a simulation.
6.8 years ago@RedVine Yep, size typically increases price with the customizable parts.
6.8 years agoThat was the most exciting launch I can remember. Unbelievable that they landed those two boosters at the same time. Oh, and I'm glad they didn't crash into your house, though it's certainly worth the risk if you were able to see it going up!
+1 6.8 years agoThey did it! That was absolutely amazing.
6.8 years ago@Cape6 No plans for weapons.
6.8 years ago@Admiral We already have wings implemented, so you can make planes in SR2.
+2 6.8 years ago@Ihavenorealideawhatiamdoing I don't have an official date to release the official date of the release....... :D
+2 6.8 years ago@dootdootbananabus Most likely we will have some jet engines too.
6.8 years ago@JetFighter No plans for weapons, but fuselage parts will be even more customizable than SimplePlanes.
+1 6.8 years ago@SANTIROVI Yes, we will have a few different command pods available.
