Will there be "Mouse as joystick" option? It is very useful, and it would be a shame not to have it on SR2.
I have a suggestion for autopilot. Beside SP "Wing leveling mode", it should also have "maintain heading" mode that would hold any heading you set via input. For example, I turn it on, and the build flies in the selected direction. I use input to change heading, and autopilot keeps that heading.
If I understood the indicators correctly, your rocket has a lousy directional stability. It changes direction and keeps sideslipping for a while. I am guessing that the blue is the direction you are setting, white direction in which the rocket is pointing, and green direction in which the rocket is going.
Nice launch effect. But that airport is as bad as the ones on SP. Markings on the runway are all wrong. Also, a few aprons wouldn't hurt. I hope that's not the only airport we'll get.
I have a little suggestion for SimpleRockets 2. Scraping damage. On SimplePlanes, I can scrape a fuselage across a mile of runway at 500km/h and not take any damage. That's annoying. My ideas is progressive scraping damage, with 1 damage point being done to fuselage per meter of scraping at V>x.
Eh, wouldn't it be more logical to close the circle by having sun eat carnivores? Nice work on these thingies. I'm guessing they also have adjustable speed of deployment?
Should we expect some aircraft engines? I understand that the game is about rockets, but having an adjustable prop and jet engine would widen the market to cover not just a few space geeks, but also plane geeks, of which you have many on SP.com. Not having such engines would kill the experience of the new game for all of us down-to-earth guys, countering features like far better graphics and new parts.
Right, SimplePlanes is burning... You're blowing it way out of proportion because you're in it.

+3 6.4 years agoI smell hollow fuselages that will be made by setting these to a non-existent activation group.
+3 6.6 years ago@Buizer no I won't. I'll make planes :)

+2 6.7 years agoSpread some crushed stone on that schedule to make it less slippery.
+1 6.6 years agokg? Metric system? And all the improvements to the wheel I like. I'm buying this as soon as I can.
+1 6.6 years agoCan we get these options on SP too? This way of editing would make getting the outline of a plane far quicker, more intuitive, and more fun.
+1 6.7 years ago@KnightOfRen I check once a month or so, usually when I see a link in SR2 section of the moderator server. SR2 mods have it easy man...
4.0 years agoI am very rarely here. I'm still on SP, and I check SR2 only once a month or so.
4.8 years agoSweet. I can't wait to try it out.

6.6 years ago@AndrewGarrison anything like a VTOL engine then? I can't make ships with rocket boosters :)
6.8 years agoWill fuselages have buoyancy option? And will there be enough water surfaces to play on? Also, can we hope for some prop engines?
6.8 years agoI was the first after the devs and mods. I joined just minutes after the site was released and published on SimplePlanes.com.
6.9 years ago@Ryn176 no problem
6.9 years agoAnd what about other ranks?
