Microgravity can help build organs because on earth you need expensive and complicated bases, in space, you can just print and save lives. There are countless other human anatomy researches like finding cures for cancer (Witch some have successfully been found!) Cures for malaria, alzimers, and a whole lot more could be possible in space. :)
I would say yes, because if we want to go places more efficiently, we must to in-space construction to get to other planets and eventually stars. It would also be good just to have stations on their own, because what the Curiosity Mars Rover did. over the span of almost 9 years, a human could do in a month or two. This would also bring long term enemies together for prosperity for both. We go to space to improve life on Earth. Why not also place life other places, so we have a backup?
I’ve already tried and successfully reused a Sub-Orbital version of the Alpha 4. It hopped to space and back, landed, I docked a small car, refueled it, attached a second stage, and sent it up again. I don’t think it should count because it wasn’t automatic. And wasn’t orbital (But got really close). I am currently trying to use it on Ouranos, but I probably won’t add it. (Partly because I figured out the first stage can be used as an SSTO. And also because the booster is CRAZY heavy)
@FalconAerospaceFAS Same Photo problem happened to me aswell trying to get Imgur to work. When posting a photo on I Imgur, click hidden, copy the link, click the photo (in the editor) and click copy link then. It should work.
Better jet engines, that are more tinker-able. Also, propellers are easy to make with the right placement. Landing gear are fully tinker-able. Most importantly,
we have astronaut pilots
with parts able to support old looking and new looking Cockpits that display real data.
Also, you can make rocket planes if you feel so inclined. Or Rockets in general.
Anyway, Welcome to the community! Have a nice stay! =)
1 Regular Calculator
2 Delta V Calculator for specific planets, like Mars, Earth, and custom bodies, where you can input gravity, planet diameter, and atmospheric stuff.
3. COM and COP on small, model rocket sized things. Input where fins are, how many stages, engine etc so amateur rocket people like me can use that over RockSim
”The equation for delta-v is Dv = Ve * ln(m0 / m1) where Dv is delta-v, Ve is exhaust velocity, m0 is initial mass, and m1 is final mass. ln is the natural logarithm.
To increase Dv we can either increase Ve or ln(m0 / m1).
Ve or exhaust velocity is directly proportional to Isp, or specific impulse. Specific impulse measures the efficiency of the engine. We can increase specific impulse by many ways. Some typical methods include using more efficient fuel cycles, more efficient fuels, using nuclear or ion engines instead of using chemical rocket engines.
To increase ln(m0 / m1) we have to increase m0 / m1. Remember that m0 is the initial mass, which is the propellant plus fuel tanks and engines etc. m1 is the final mass, which is only the fuel tanks and engines. We want maximize the propellant mass per dead mass. We can do this by changing tank geometry, using denser fuels (though these usually have less Isp), or removing dead weight from the craft” -Kelly.
@MoonBasecommander
Sorry, have been offline for a bit now and didn’t see the message. I think we could buy the mobile roving bases, and likely cop- I mean... “Reverse Engineer” them
There is a part in the menu when you click the three lines. This can be while launching, or when designing a craft. There will be a camera icon in somewhat the upper middle. Click that, and get a pic :)
@MoonBasscommander Thanks. Could you check over This https://www.simplerockets.com/Forums/View/90850 post for the Crewed orbital version to see if it’s good
I don’t think it works like that.

3.7 years agoI Can’t call the rocket Neutron Anymore (For sake of originality) Because Peter Beck decided to name his new rocket... “Neutron”
3.7 years agoUpdate, The rocket can no longer be called Neutron because Rocket Lab decided to name their new rocket the same. How dare thy Peter Beck?
3.7 years agoNice, but why ping so many people? The way to get orders is patience.
3.8 years ago@NebulaSpaceAgency I would love to collaborate! Thanks for the offer!
3.8 years agoYes @Vedhaspace
3.8 years ago@Vedhaspace already tried that. Sorry guys.
3.8 years agoI tried. Didn’t work @Chtite451SR2
