I think there is starting to be a pattern here with these things.
Somebody tries to do something to bring something new to the table in SR2, and gets a whole lot of points for it. Somebody else sees the opportunity and tries to get points off of it to. It works. Before you know it everybody is doing it because nobody seems to realize that points are pretty much worthless.
Come on guys… points don’t matter. Making good crafts for everybody to enjoy that have high amounts of effort, and maybe getting a few points off the side DOES matter in this context. Chose better crafts over points.
The devs are working as hard as possible to get this update out to us so we can continue to have fun in this great game! Be patient! The PC players haven’t even got the full update you are likely protesting about yet, so there really isn’t any way you can logically complain anyway. Take a look back from all the arguments of the world and see that there is no reason to take part. Patience is key friend. Rockets unite us. Let us not have SimpleRockets tear us apart.
You are only making the problem worse. This is why the PC players made a lock so you don’t download their crafts! You are being incredibly annoying!
@Lavo The new launch complex is in the mobile update, however, unless you are on Android and know the secret way to access planet studio, mobile players will not be able to customize space bases.
I wouldn't ping the experts. It’s not that they looked at videos, more they studied coding and math and stuff to get themselves to the point of being able to complete boost-back burns. You NEED do find a way to do this yourself. If this means reading books, studying extra hard, then it means those things. There are not many places that teach you directly, more, you have to experiment yourself.
@Vedhaspace all is forgiven. I do, however, encourage you to speak up about the problem to other mobile players so we don’t make the devs rush into an unfinished game. :)
Docking is pretty hard, the magnets in the actual ports caused a mission failure while making my space station in CSS V.2. There needs to be an option to turn off magnets on specific docking ports that the player selects.
I just though it might be fun since no other games do it. But yeah it doesn’t hold much validity. I didn’t want it to get political, I just wanted a system where you could deal with politics on droo just like today IRL.
Hey Jim! A few friends from CSS have been working on some model rockets of our own for some time. If you need any help, you know where to find me. Also for a name, Do something like bigger and bigger birds. I Currently have my own set, “Pigeon” A real life 2 stage vehicle, “Sparrow” a Big rocket that can reach 1Km just barely with a G Class engine, and “Raven” which will be 1Km to 5-7Km missions. I’m also thinking of Hawk and Phoenix in the far future. Currently working on Raven now.
I actually know Jared. Got to say seeing the light from the sun reflect off of the exhaust of the Second stage was truly wonderful. Can’t get that on New Shepard or Spaceship 2.
@Thesaturnaerospace true, and I love going to the giant crater. However, it is a bit overrated. This list is just places players don’t really think to go.
I have noticed this in the EULA. Thought everyone new already. Though, I think Jundroo doesn’t give them away per say, but still makes some money off of it, at least of what I think. The spam e-mails are interesting though. The information shared is likely stuff that all people collect. That don’t compromise personal privacy.
Apps like Tik Tok however, are TERRIBLE for anyone with any sense of personal privacy. Everyone reading this, Read their information terms of service and EULA. Disgusting stuff.
Honestly, the most compromising Jundroo Game is Aero Effect just because it displays global scores using Game Center data on IOS. Nothing harmful about it.
Yes. It looks like a box with an arrow on top. If you are sharing a craft, use the one in the designer, if you are sharing a sandbox, do it while play8ng the game
(Droo Dogs... or frogs... if you really wanted too) as a reason to preform science and obtain the next topic... Cycleroins without expending valuable crew’s life
“Cycleroins”
to unlock missions, certain parts, and the ability to extend procedural parts to certain dimensions like fuel tanks, Capsules, Wings, Struts etc. The way you obtain these points is clicking task button in-flight to select creation tasks to gain Cycleroins.
“Task” button,
where a contract or mission states what to do, and where to do them. [Sort of gameplay mechanics from Mars Horizon, but twisted to the SR2 style we all know and love]
if you “Beat” the game in Career mode you will be treated to unique cutscenes (for different versions like government, Cold War, Private...) consisting of nice, orchestrated music and inspiring goals for the human player to be inspired by,
“to be told to keep exploring... when others can’t. Told that in the face of challenge, a species can pull through. Like the Droods did, Like Humanity should. If one cuts a way this team vs that one, this country vs that country, you find that it will only be Humans, Vs The Universe. Keep Going.”
Those are the words we need to hear, especially these days, with chaos consuming the world. Thank you Jundroo... for everything.
This is true. Before I started growing like crazy within the last few months, I saw many crafts that were extremely low effort and got tons of upvotes. I truthfully don’t care about points as much as others, but it still found motivation in points, to show others what I work on in my free time... if that makes sense. Points give players leverage to show others what they make, that’s why I hung around 500 points for a while, until I finally started to REALLY grow.
TL;DR: People with points are silencing other, smaller players
Finished Galileo Launch Vehicles for the Solar Alliance. All crewed ones have 1 piano, just because STERLING SCOTT NEEDS TO PLAY! But cargo ones don’t, should be releasing them tomorrow. The Crewed lunar one needs a few SRB’s to get it off the pad and on a trans-lunar injection, however, this means it can carry a bit of payload to the lunar surface or lunar orbit. The only launch version I haven’t tested is the lunar purely cargo. Once I’m done, I’ll tell you how much it can carry to the lunar surface.
To all asking When the update is... Here!
BE PATIENT

Only thing I could possibly want in the future trailers is the SimplePlanes announcer guy. He always gave me and others a good laugh.
