@AndrewGarrison
Im unsure if it’s only iOS. I would assume so because android users had beta testing to figure this out. I don’t use the finger tool. Finding a way to screenshot the GUI isn’t possible (hint hint gallery) the way I have triggered it is by
1.) selecting the wing
2.) deleting control surface
3.) adding it back
4.) the control surface will be visible, however the won’t be any way to change its settings as in roll/pitch/yaw. The window won’t be there anymore.
You guys are a pretty good dev team, but I would recommend always beta testing large scale updates like this before releasing it, Regardless of how many setbacks happen. I know the mobile community is a little bit impatient but sometimes they will just have to wait it out
Edit:
While we’re here, and as many people are talking about, will we see different sitting positions for the astronauts? Motorbike esc seat, straight legged dune buggy seat where you cramp up afterwards?
They could open up some more designs and possibilities... don’t forget to test it first!

Heres the craft
Also I’ve noticed that sometimes when you undo an action the camera and craft move apart from each other. This happened and might still happen (not sure anymore) in SimplePlanes. It’s quite annoying
I don’t want to bother you guys too much so I’m not gonna @ you but I’ve found another bug where if you go on EVA, quicksave, then reload, the seat, that should be empty, will have duplicated the astronaut and put them in the seat
@PhilipTarpley
Thanks, and about #3, I haven’t been able to trigger the bug since last night and have just tried to trigger it again. I found it while exiting and entering the seat and zooming out afterwards. The camera will be stuck at least 200ft out. Or at least that’s what I got. I tried switching into first person and back out but every time I was still stuck zoomed out. Even after entering a seat and taking control of the vehicle it would still stick. I comment if I get it to happen again
@AndrewGarrison
Makes sense.
I’ve tried pressing the little + button to add controls and counter this
Edit: About mobile controls, will we see proper ground vehicle controls in the future? Roll and yaw joysticks can sometimes be very touchy
This is a great idea.
We also need ground vehicle controls for mobile screens. I’m one of those mobile dwellers and I can confirm this.
If anyone here ever played simple planes you would remember VTOL and Trim were integrated on the screen so we didn’t have to open them with the + button. I think
interchangeable GUIS could be useful too

@Foxman21
TestFlight is a beta testing app for mobile devices. It’s on IOS and although I’m not sure if It is on android. I’m pretty sure it is however.
TestFlight is what Jundroo used for beta testing some updates for SimplePlanes so they could see how mobile players liked the update before it was released. It’s not hard to use either you just get a link or whatever and open it in TestFlight where you can then download the beta and try it out and if Jundroo has mobile beta it is most likely what’s going to be used to test it. Hope this helps
@Beits
I’m not too sure cause I’m a mobile user but I’m thinking you’d find the beta on the steam page for SimpleRockets. If not maybe there’s a link somewhere?
If not the update will be out soon anyways :)
@PhilipTarpley
Sorry for the late late response!!
I will upload my sandbox, however I’ve only see the issue happen twice and, the only way it happens really is being in orbit. I’ll try to trigger it and upload it whilst it is in action
@Foxman21
I was wrong, actually. We all were. Decided to try it anyways, worked fine on high graphics so that’s a plot twist lol. I only have a 1GB Ram phone, although it can heat up pretty bad...
@AndrewGarrison
For the most part, I have been playing on medium graphics. (Aside for high terrain, reflections and physics, they’re on high settings.) It seems to run fine, the only time it crashes is pretty rare and only when it’s loading, which I do blame on my iPhone’s age. And it probably isn’t healthy for my 1GB RAM phone either, but as long as it runs smooth, which it has so far.
Just a question while I’m writing this, do you ever think of a console version of the game?
@Common
It’s nice to have the FPS button on too because then you can see the weak points
@Natedog120705
My phone gets a little heated after a while. I don’t do very heavy stuff though so so guess I’ll try it and see what my phone likes and doesn’t
