@TerminalGuidance that makes a lot more sense. Then ignore everything I told you previously. Pay attention to @Hannah1212 she is probably better than me at vizzy anyway.
@Gen3ralInterstel1ar if you aren’t worried about windows and stuff you can use a cargo bay for a basic cylinder. If you want a more defined shape Lina capsule or something with windows I suggest struts, as they curve and stuff and can be transparent. But for a basic shape that doesn’t need a ton of detail you can use struts.
@Staticalliam7 pretty much. When I was developing a hopper to test my landing program I had a similar problem. Luckily iSpace shared that link out with me.
@SCaxaR although my goal is to create an SSTO with the capacity of a Saturn V. In theory the landing script shouldn’t be too different from the boost back script.
@Insanity this is not true. They do allow mods. As such with Minecraft. Mods are the same thing as downloading a craft. The craft file is just as easily tamperable as a mod file. And yet iOS does allow it. It only comes to allowing a certain type of file to download that it is strict upon. Everything else is fair game if you can dig that far down. Android has issues with the software but iOS may be functional one day.
@Chtite451SR2 yes, but the human mind can easily do thousands of calculations that the brain doesn’t even u feed tans in a physical form within 1 second. A computer can only do what it is told to. So making a computer that can land a plane or rocket is probably more impressive. At least to me. Take for instance the automatic dog fighter and formation holder that I am making. It automatically calculates where it needs to be and where to aim within the time that a normal human brain could. These skills take years for a human to learn to a point. This computer learns in 0.05 seconds.
@anubisspace I am working on improving it so that it will hold a certain altitude. If you want; you can put an if statement inside of the script so that it will change the pitch automatically at certain altitudes.
@Astrofighter you could use the damage effect that comes from reentry heating. So heat and impacts could damage it. Not just blow it up. With tinkering you could modify the health of it.
I would be fine with this as long as the people who paid didn’t get special parts or anything. I have always liked that SR2 has been a one time purchase. I don’t want to pay for multiplayer (in which I am not extremely excited about) just to get special parts. But I know other people want this so I wouldn’t mind it. Although X-Plane has always somehow kept a free two player thing. Even if just for local. That is something I would be happy to do. I don’t want multiplayer for myself though because of griefers. They exist everywhere that there is multiplayer and I would like my stations to be left alone.
@iSpace would you like to help me launch a lunar kick stage. I have tested on fairings and it fits and it also meets the weight requirements. I am doing a vizzy program that will automatically do a transfer with the craft.
@Chtite451SR2 this screen is called the white screen of death (not making that up. That is its actual name). It normally only occurs on Apple devices. Are you on an Apple device?
I think it is relative to the time and upvotes. So a craft with five upvotes that has been out for 10 minutes will be higher than a craft with five upvotes that has been out for an hour.
@HSH @SummerIron or possibly you have to download to upvote. So that way it eliminates some of this. Although people still may upvote anyways. The problem with removing the name would be that a lot of users have their name in the picture (at least a lot of very skilled ones). So a lot of the people getting popularity votes wouldn’t be affected.
@PointBreak yeah there are. I kind of wish the daily and weekly section of highest rated was removed. That way people don’t just upvote the first or second one because they like the person.
@Mod why was the IAAR account removed? As far as I am aware it didn’t have anything inappropriate on it and and didn’t get used to upvote other people’s crafts for points. Unless someone did something like that I have no idea why it was removed.
@TerminalGuidance that makes a lot more sense. Then ignore everything I told you previously. Pay attention to @Hannah1212 she is probably better than me at vizzy anyway.

+1 4.1 years agoMe being not afraid to ping devs whenever I have questions. And then regretting it immediately afterwards.
+1 4.1 years ago@TerminalGuidance wait did you mean brake or break. I need clarification. Because one is an argument and the other is an input.
+1 4.1 years agoNo. You can set a variable to something when it breaks or broadcast something.
+1 4.1 years ago@Staticalliam7 pretty much. When I was developing a hopper to test my landing program I had a similar problem. Luckily iSpace shared that link out with me.
+1 4.1 years agoLol
+1 4.1 years ago@SCaxaR and then went:
KABOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM
+1 4.1 years agoWhy is that a brag?
+1 4.1 years ago@JSO18 thanks! Hopefully they will. Although I do have an idea for what I would do if I didn’t do that.
+1 4.1 years agoYou can still download it on 9.5. You just won’t have some parts.
+1 4.2 years ago@SCaxaR it is probably a long way away though
+1 4.2 years ago@SCaxaR although my goal is to create an SSTO with the capacity of a Saturn V. In theory the landing script shouldn’t be too different from the boost back script.
+1 4.2 years ago@GSpace maybe it is still processing?
+1 4.2 years agoI don’t have it yet. So I don’t know.
+1 4.2 years ago@iSpace I am guessing that the trusses are going to need the beta heavy rocket?

+1 4.2 years ago@017b I refollowed
+1 4.2 years agoDoes it have fins?
+1 4.2 years ago@Vedhaspace thanks

+1 4.2 years ago@JSO18 the engine failed and I think there was an aerodynamic problem
+1 4.2 years ago@iSpace hope it lands! If it doesn’t land the first time; remember it took Space X years to land it the first time.
+1 4.2 years ago@Charles3540 need 100 points
+1 4.2 years ago@JSO18 pistons and a rotator for moving and positioning crafts

+1 4.2 years ago@iSpace any height limits? Or is 2m the limit?
+1 4.3 years ago@TestRunner lucky for you you got out of high school. I have barely begun it. Wish it had better classes (like aerospace engineering).
+1 4.3 years ago@CASXA yep
+1 4.3 years ago@Chtite451SR2 yea I believe you. You have the time stamps in the corner so you good.
+1 4.3 years ago@Chtite451SR2 this screen is called the white screen of death (not making that up. That is its actual name). It normally only occurs on Apple devices. Are you on an Apple device?
+1 4.3 years ago@Arstotzka same. It happened on all of Jundroo. Even the main website. SP and SR2 got brought down with it I guess
+1 4.3 years ago@JSO18 congrats on blue!
+1 4.3 years ago@SachuSksr2 click on more in forums and the select a category. Then you want to click new post after selecting the category.

+1 4.3 years agoFor me it is still winter. We have spring break in may. @INTERCEPTOR2021
+1 4.3 years agoIt isn’t done yet but will be for certain tomorrow!
+1 4.3 years ago@CELESTIAL1 even play around with them after you finish. I do that at least ten times to make sure that there are no kinks.
+1 4.3 years agoAre these the same grid fins from the old infinite 8 versions?
+1 4.3 years agoOk. Expect a payload request in a little bit.
+1 4.3 years agoCongrats

+1 4.3 years agoI was on your page about two seconds ago. Then I went to forums and suddenly you had posted. Nice rocket though.
+1 4.3 years ago@Chtite451SR2 yeah, it seemed like you thought I was accusing you so I wanted to make sure everyone knew that no one was in the spotlight.

+1 4.3 years ago@JSO18 I am hoping to get it out by the sixth. It might happen but I am not sure if it will happen.
