There are multiple tools that allow you to rotate/orient objects in any specific way and most objects are procedural meaning you can adjust the shape( up to a certain point) into whatever you want. I suggest playing around with the designer a bit more and take up some of the challenges for a better idea.
Please don't do that. Don't disturb the devs, they startle quite easily. We might have to appease them with bacon and coffee before they recover and get back on track.
The new feature absolutely made sandbox mode a lot more fun. May their poor souls prepare themselves for a Solar Dip. Community Space Stations are a lot more fun with them as well.
@pedro16797 can it change thickness of the walls though? As for the suggestion itself, we're pretty much going into 3D sculpting tools territory if we aren't already one.
Welcome! So, to answer your questions:
1. Yes, a lot.
2. Not speaking for the whole community but I personally like sci-fi stuff, maybe robots.
3. Start with the simple challenges, they give you a good idea of what you're supposed to do. Are you more of a builder? a pilot? like things to explode? The challenges can help you with that.
If you are a student and don't have a copy yet, try asking your teacher to get in, it's free for educational purposes now, which is cool.
