There are two different logs. The Local Log, and the Flight Log. The Local Log can be found in the inspector for the part with the program running. The Flight Log can be located on the right side of the screen in flight, it's the 4th icon down (on pc at least, not sure about mobile) and is shaped like a log.
Make sure to include </color> at the end of the string, as it could lead to issues. This basically just says that you're ending the color, returning it to the default.
It depends on what you're wanting to do it for. Do you have a use case that you can provide for toggling the gimbal? I quickly put this together, hopefully it can help you with what you're trying to do.
Look into the inputcontrollers for these parts. Some may be set to have an input of 1, and have 0 on deactivate set to true. Alternatively, they could be setting the input to that of the activation group itself. There are a lot of ways to do it.
Don't use multiple rotators, having linked joints like that for a control surface is a bad idea. What you should do instead is have 1 rotator, and make the inputs clamp(Pitch + Roll, -1, 1). You may need to flip the signs of pitch or roll depending on the location, but you can look at the new Wasp 3.0 and see how they're done there.
I've heard from multiple people that it works more or less perfectly on proton. I'm not a huge linux person myself, so I can't be sure about what that is.
You don't want to lock target on the droneship, but guide yourself to it, either manually or with vizzy. I also suggest making quick saves if you haven't been.
if you're wanting to search the forums, you can just add site:https://www.simplerockets.com/Forums to a search on google, it practically is the same thing as the crafts search, but for forums and not built into the website
@TronicOrbital I don't think that is how they work by default, you have to add the arrow keys in the controls to move the cameras around using them. I may be wrong on this though.
@sneakylikeasnek That sounds like a material setting rather than a bug. Increase the smoothness for it to shine more. Also, having realtime reflections enabled gives a better result
The Career mode update isn't finished yet, but they're implementing some features for it in the current beta. While you can create a career save as of now, it's no different from a sandbox save.
Do you have any proof of it?
