@mundindel
Ya man. My first vehicle was the 8 wheeled rover I have. The one with auto target.
It can be left alone on time warp x10 and it will reach the platform by itself.
Just set its target. Set throttle to 95%.
Set break to 8%.
It will not crash very often at all.
It works well just be there for when it’s time to climb the platform.
Do it slow or the payload explodes
Use the nodes you can create along your orbit lines.
Green makes your orbit line larger or smaller.
Blue is what forces your rendezvous into position.
Red lines up the rendezvous in the perpendicular direction.
@topfuel300 I didn’t notice the nose cone is all battery.
Don’t need that much for a space jet.
Hide a smaller one in the middle rear and make the nose come hydrolox or empty
It’s nose diving.
Something tells me you’re too heavy in the front for this design.
Most planes weight to lift ratio is closer than this one.
Use the eye tab tool on the bottom.
Highlight the weight and lift.
Lift is blue. Weight is red.
Add lots of weight to the rear to get it closer to the lift.
Weight should usually be in front of lift but not as far as you have it.
Slightly forward and below is most common.
There isn’t one.
Hide it inside a cargo bay to bounce around in.
You might be able to use a couple astronauts to tether it to the side of your craft.
I never tried that.
@CosmosMan
Some parts only have a couple spots to connect to it like struts but fuel tanks are pretty much unlimited if you use the surface and rotate connections.
So essentially everything in a massive craft could all be connected to a single fuel tank if you wanted to.
Only exception is moving parts.
@CosmosMan
Just comb through the tools in the tabs on the left side and read their names.
You’ll find it before I get home to check for you.
I’ll be at least 8 hours if I even remember to do it.
I do a combination of cruise control and abs.
Drop throttle so you don’t have to apply so much break. It will be smoother.
Use decimal points to avoid overlapping zeros.
If pitch > 0.1
Fastest way will be a rocket but for some reason my cargo explodes on re entry.
No matter what it’s inside of or with heat shields.
I decided to drive it there by boat last week.
The boat is still driving there ….
Good luck friend

Dream up a space mission.
1.6 years agoYou’ll have to create plenty of crafts to accomplish the jobs.
You’ll have hundreds of crafts available to create.
It doesn’t matter in this game. You can rendezvous with a sphere of influence from any direction.
1.6 years agoA droonaut would take 3 weeks but no fuel needed and it doesn’t crash.

@mundindel my cargo drone. It’s on my profile uploads.
1.6 years agoAnother idea.
Set afterburner to engage around 20% throttle and only use 40% throttle.
Or
Have a reversed facing engine in the craft that uses throttle to break so that it holds you back from so much speed

@topfuel300 looks cool.
1.7 years ago@topfuel300 might need to take a couple engines away too or tinker them lighter.
1.7 years ago@topfuel300 it needs well balanced.
1.7 years agoI would drop all the fuel tanks to 30% and move that battery to the middle rear somewhere.
@topfuel300 I didn’t notice the nose cone is all battery.

@topfuel300 actually that’s not gonna work.

Use the Parts Connection Tool to bypass the fuel adapter, then delete the fuel adapter. They are outdated.
If you wish to have something in place of the fuel adapter for looks, use an empty fuel tank and shape it.
