A small tip on the side the predicted orbit actually shows on the center of the planet you are going to encounter, if you are still inside of the soi of another planet (for example droo).
Something like a fuel cell or an rtg would be nice, also i dont know how hard that would be to do but maybe an option to switch to a more realistic tank utilization.
@SmallLittleGreenGuy if you're on android you can apply for the beta program in the play store, if you're on IOS you probably have to wait a bit untill its approved
@sflanker im certainly no expert in the field but i have taken a small look at it and was even able to make my own small moon, though i must say you have to really work yourself into the matter to be able to make something proper, as a lot of the individual settings are quite sensitive and a small change can suddenly result in a huge unwanted change, i myself have struggled to find out how to make your own biomes and i just used preexisting ones.
One part about this which is basically necessairy is the planet studio, which can be accessed via the dev console by writing PlanetStudio (the name of the planet). This allows you to see real time updates to the planet.
Especially in the real world designing a fully reusable system for a large variety of payloads would be the way to go, as you wouldnt have to dump most of the rockets potential if you launch a smaller payload.
A pluto sized planet with a relatively thick atmosphere and an icy/rocky surface, orbiting around a barycenter together with another slightly smaller body with a pretty rough and rocky surface and no atmosphere.
About the engines with negative electricity consumption, i think people have already tried doing that but it seems to be bugged right now, where it won't work with negative values.
I usually use many small fuel tanks as they have a lot of attachment points and can be made into almost any shape you want, given that you use enough of them.
It is quite a tedious process though.
Its a block based programming language kind of like scratch, which lets you automate your craft with certain functions and actions. For example people have already made hovering and self-landing rockets and even one that can dock to another craft in orbit, without any input.
@Chtite451SR2 which link?
4.5 years ago@Chtite451SR2 write
4.5 years ago![](link)
but make sure its a direct link to the image and it ends with.png
or.jpeg
or something like that. You can find him/her under gizmos, just drag one out and it should work.
4.5 years ago@Kishore0115 theoretically yes its just very tedious though and it also only works on android.
4.5 years ago@StoplightProductions wdym it even works on android
4.5 years agoThe devs are currently working on a planet editor so you'll be able to make your own soon. Also let me point you to here
4.5 years agoAre you really complaining that the devs arent including enough ways to cheat the game?
+4 4.5 years agoA small tip on the side the predicted orbit actually shows on the center of the planet you are going to encounter, if you are still inside of the soi of another planet (for example droo).
+1 4.5 years agoIts certainly still red for me, maybe they lowered the amount of parts where it will be red.

Good god, what did you do for such a ban?
4.5 years ago@BigAbsurdTurd unlikely, these solar systems dont change any behaviour about the game besides the specific sandbox.
4.6 years agoYou can already connect two crafts with the astronauts tether or do you mean permanently?
4.6 years agoYou cant
+2 4.6 years ago@NoIDontWanna true lol
4.6 years ago@KraZIvan dv for LEO is more like 8000-9000m/s
+1 4.6 years ago@SmallLittleGreenGuy nope its actually the real one, infact the whole solar system is made with real proportions in this modified sandbox.
4.6 years ago@SuperMiiBrother the beta for ios should be out very soon as it took some time for it to be approved
4.6 years agoThis might be because they're not connected to the main craft, always check your connections with the part connection editor.
+1 4.6 years agoLook if it has already been suggested and if not make a suggestion here
+2 4.6 years ago@Kishore0115 it might take some time for the beta to appear when you apply for it.

4.6 years ago@Kishore0115 omg im sorry

4.6 years ago@BarsikKT cool

4.6 years agoNice program, but i think you can simplyfy calculating the intended pitch angle by doing:
90 - ((craftASL * targetDeg) / targetASL)
Atleast that worked for me.

Cool, but the link to the screenshot is broken.
4.6 years ago@crowxe oh ok, i dont know if that makes such a huge difference but sure, if it still works.
4.6 years agoYou can turn them of in your account settings
+1 4.6 years ago@crowxe its still running over steam, the steam application just isnt open in the background.
4.6 years agoIm so ready!
+1 4.6 years agoI think this should be on the front page or the dropdown menu.
+1 4.6 years agoNot mine but that should work.
4.6 years agoOr you make the pitch angle a function of the current altitude the maximum altitude and the angle you want to be pitched over at that point.
4.6 years agoLike that
@Oski to check when the boosters run out you can just wait untill the max engine thrust drops below the value you would have with all engines active.

+1 4.6 years agoYou dont, you just have to disable them to log into your account from inside the game, which is a one time thing.
4.6 years agoClick
4.6 years agoThis reminds me of something.
+3 4.6 years agoWhat part of the docking exactly are you struggling with?
4.6 years agoMake sure its connected to the surface of the tank and not to the bottom node as symmetry won't work then.
4.6 years agoTruely breathtaking!
