If you're talking about ion engines the battery/solar panel can be placed anywhere on the craft and it should work, the xenon fuel does have to be connected to the engine itself though.
Piracy is theft, its not only a crime but also respectless towards the people who worked hard make the game. I find it crazy that you have the audacity to ask the devs to do anything about it, just buy the game, it even was on sale recently.
@Remedy31 its most likely gonna take a bit longer than that, they basically just released a really big update and arent yet finished with some other features they're working on.
I like the idea, though i could see some potential issues with that. The powder toy works with cellular automata as far as i know, so the individual pixels just appear/dissappear depending on certain rules and the pixels around them. This does allow for some pretty impressive looking simulations but is really gpu expensive, even at a 2dimensional and low resolution scale. I couldnt imagine how bad the framerate would be with a 3d implementation. That said, im sure there would be ways to solve this to some degree, i sadly just dont see the devs ever actually picking that idea up.
@hendore there actually is a stock droneship on the standart planet, its in the ocean somewhere. Some people have made their own droneships aswell which can be spawned in after setting the proper launch location.
@JelloAircraftCorporation no, the game uses patched conics, not n-body physics. It would be too confusing for new players and maybe also too performace heavy. I think in ksp theres a mod for it but not for sr2.
I think there is a 'parent ancestry id' vaule in the xml-file of the craft that determines if something will be credited. So before uploading copy the id of the original craft and paste it into your craft file.
@CSPACE yeah an SSTO would be way easier in that regard, i guess you have to decide if you'd rather sacrifice a bit of payload capacity or your sanity.
@Politonno well no, sadly. Mods dont work on the mobile version and you need the mods to download the craft, but they are really useful for making realistic crafts.
Under the input controller of a part you can write in the input field: (the name of your command pod/chip).FlightProgram.(name of the variable) and the part will use the vizzy variable as input.
There are many different ways to downlaod crafts. You can do it from within the game by pressing the 'dowload crafts' button in the menu or the editor, or you copy the link to the craft on the website and press ctrl + v while in the game, or you take the .sr2 file and press right click and open it with the SR2.exe.
Replicas, even if you think enough people have made the most popular rockets its always fun to try it on your own. Or you could look for less popular rockets/concepts, theres enough interesting ones out there.
It has to be around 45°-50° ahead of droo for an optimal transfer, though that might change if cylero is at it lowest point in the orbit. You'll just have to play around with the manouver node a bit.
@Mastercam dont worry it takes quite a bit of time to understand the systems that are in place for making the planets. The files that controls the creation each of the planets/systems can be found in the SR2 folder under UserData/CelestialDatabase.
Its not a planet editor yet, its currently just a tool to manage and view planets and see updates to the xml files in real time, actual editing is still done externally.
With the newest beta you can actually use planet studio on mobile, by going to the controls settings and clicking the dropdown menu and pressing open dev console (incase you needed to know for mobile).
You can write ![](link) when its a direct link to the image/gif and ends with something like .png or .jpg. About the heatshield, you usually just put them on the bottom of something you want to protect from heat, hence the name.
Theres a really easy way to do this, you store the thing you want to measure in one variable, then wait a certain amount of time and store the thing in another variable, then you subtract the first from the second one, set the second one to the first wait again set the thing to the second variable, subtract again and repeat the latter part for as long as you want. Example for clearity
@sflanker its not actually any of the below mentioned stuff, its just that the wheels are kinda unstable, to fix it just increase forward/sideways friction on the back wheels, atleast thats what worked for me.
@ItsSimpleWhenYouRule then i cant help you sorry, about the reentry besides the settings being turned of i cant help you either, you might wanna report that bug.

+1 4.1 years agoLet's hope you dont get any more serious symptoms and you'll get through this quickly.
+1 4.1 years agoCurrently not, there were some people asking for it but i think the devs decided against it because of performance reasons.
+1 4.1 years ago@Remedy31 its most likely gonna take a bit longer than that, they basically just released a really big update and arent yet finished with some other features they're working on.
+1 4.1 years ago@SCaxaR its not possible to do it on mobile, so i doubt you saw something recorded on mobile. Also why do you format all your text to be big?
+1 4.1 years agoWhy?
+1 4.1 years ago@KitKart the >10000 is more of a sliver/metallic, rather than black.

+1 4.2 years agoBut if you buy it you can uninstall/reinstall any time you want. You're not buying the actual files, but the right to download them.
+1 4.2 years ago@hendore there actually is a stock droneship on the standart planet, its in the ocean somewhere. Some people have made their own droneships aswell which can be spawned in after setting the proper launch location.
+1 4.2 years agoIt could be that some parts are clipping inside of each other and are causing a torque, you might wanna disable collision on some parts.

+1 4.2 years ago@Shivansh you'd need to make a mod for that, its not an xml-value.

+1 4.2 years agoBut will it be truely reused?
+1 4.2 years agoThats what im working on right now, and i think i almost got it.
@Politonno thats what i usually do, linking a non modded version in the description.
+1 4.2 years ago@Politonno well no, sadly. Mods dont work on the mobile version and you need the mods to download the craft, but they are really useful for making realistic crafts.
+1 4.2 years agoYou certainly wanna use these mods.

and the part will use the vizzy variable as input.I think its somewhere internally and you won't easily acces it.
+1 4.3 years agoYou could try to roughly integrate your velocity over time.
+1 4.3 years ago@theUSSR im just saying you shouldnt feel forced to make crafts, its a game we play to have fun after all.
+1 4.3 years agoIf you're looking for a completely accurate one, it doesnt exist, but KrAu's RSS is pretty good already.

+1 4.6 years agoThis would be a LOT more complicated than you would think and they would have to redesign the entire fuel tank system if its even possible.
