@zeropol sure, its not a perfect system against spamming but there has to always be a balance between making the experience best for people and to keep spamming and harrasing to a minimum. That said if the 30 point barrier is enough to keep some people from participating in the community it might also be enough to stop someone from spamming, though maybe not just that fact alone but together with the time you need to wait between upvotes and the maximum post limit per day. These are all protective measures, not to stop unwanted behaviour indefinitely but instead to annoy someone who's trying to do something like it enough, so he'll think about it twice to continue or to do it again, in a balance between security and convenience for the regular users.
@Mastercam thats not actually just a texture, as the planets arent 2D. Its the actual terrain thats been changed, which is basically just a sphere with many verticies which have their height determined by different noise textures in the form of terrain mofifiers. The actual process of making a planet/moon is pretty complex and i couldnt just explain it in a single comment.
Thats because they arent just userdata and are a fixed part of the game, also i wouldnt recommend you try to mess around in GameData as you could easily break something accidentally.
@Bmcclory additionally the the rapier engine in ksp was basically made for SSTOs and the nuclear engine is completely overpowered, because it uses propellants with a density comparable to kerosene but with the isp of liquid hydrogen, causing its mass efficiency to skyrocket (pun intended).
Mods will never work on ios because Apple forbids it and you cant do anything about that. On android it has something to do with Googles requirements removing the ability for modding support.
You're gonna have to expect some problems with calculating stuff, while you're breaking the laws of physics, especially when a fuel tank weighs less than the mass of the fuel it contains.
@sflanker i dont have anything uploaded, but a was able to make an SSTO spaceplane that could reach luna and then use a free return trajectory to return to droo with some aerobreaking. I might try to build an optimized version of that, to potentially go interplanetary.
@Natedog120705 np, i recently used that to try to integrate data with vizzy and i was able to make it display the total distance traveled by just looking at the velocity.
The key to shoot the tether is f you just use the scroll wheel to inctease/decrease its length, more infos about the controls can be found in the settings menu.
There are actually already bodies in the system that have non 0 inclination, tydos for example and cylero aswell, its just very small. Also if you wait some more time untill the planet builder comes out you'll be able to make an asteroid yourself.
You cant directly edit the height, its determened by the planet size, surface density and mean mass per molecule, for the atmosphere colour you'll need to change the wavelength value under the skyshader data, about the water colour im not sure myself, but what do you mean by natural pinkish tint?
I noticed that the shoreline east of the space center is kind of blocky, i dont know how fixxable that is, but it has always been kind of an eyezore compared to the otherwise beautiful landscape.
Untill we get proper ui you'll have to duplicate existing ones, though you can easily do that by saving an existing body with a different name in planet studio. To change the colour you have to look at the bottom most modifier of a biome and then the individual subbiomes, there you should find the RGB values and even options for smoothness and metallicness. About the atmosphere, its calculated by the planets radius, mean mass per molecule and surface density i think, so you'll have to play around with these values to get something you like.
@xEzzx first of all the astronauts are certainly fine with the fuel they have, they have about 600m/s of delta v, real life eva jetpacks have about 5-10m/s, second of all what do you mean that pc has more stuff than mobile, if you're talking about the dev console, there arent that many useful commands anyways and if you're talking about mods, there are only a few that actually add a lot to the game, also modified sandboxes like ESS or RSS work on mobile too.
Its even easier to make with electric motors as you can just set the motor to the frequency you want.
4.5 years agoUse many small strut or fuel tank pieces to make text, thats how i do it even though i have mods.
4.5 years agoNo, you can actually make and publish solar systems on android now.

4.6 years agoWhat plane said, also an official statement by Andrew.
4.6 years agoMods will never work on ios because Apple forbids it and you cant do anything about that. On android it has something to do with Googles requirements removing the ability for modding support.
4.6 years agoYou could combine this with your first post, you didnt need to make a third one.
4.6 years agoWhy did you make two post?
4.6 years agoYou're gonna have to expect some problems with calculating stuff, while you're breaking the laws of physics, especially when a fuel tank weighs less than the mass of the fuel it contains.
4.6 years ago@zeropol the link is broken, you're gonna have to wait for pedro to release the newest version.
4.6 years agoOn what platform do you play?
4.6 years ago@zeropol pretty sure hes talking about planetary systems.
4.6 years ago@Anand is it only the visual that arent there or are the temperatures of the parts also not rising?
4.6 years ago@OverFlow change it to hard edges and change the with on one side to zero.
4.6 years ago@sflanker i dont have anything uploaded, but a was able to make an SSTO spaceplane that could reach luna and then use a free return trajectory to return to droo with some aerobreaking. I might try to build an optimized version of that, to potentially go interplanetary.
4.6 years ago@socialist are you on the newest beta, cause then you will only be able to do it on the pc.
4.6 years ago@plane918273645 you can on android, just not on ios.
4.6 years agoTheres no official support for other languages, what did you do?
4.6 years ago@Natedog120705 nice
4.7 years ago@Natedog120705 well good luck with that, be sure to visit the SRC for vizzy questions.
4.7 years ago@Natedog120705 cool, havent really played much with vizzy and orbital manouvers myself.
4.7 years ago@Natedog120705 np, i recently used that to try to integrate data with vizzy and i was able to make it display the total distance traveled by just looking at the velocity.
4.7 years ago@NoIDontWanna you cant use the dev console on mobile
4.7 years agoThe key to shoot the tether is f you just use the scroll wheel to inctease/decrease its length, more infos about the controls can be found in the settings menu.
4.7 years agoThere are actually already bodies in the system that have non 0 inclination, tydos for example and cylero aswell, its just very small. Also if you wait some more time untill the planet builder comes out you'll be able to make an asteroid yourself.

4.7 years agoThis is it up close, still blocky and as you get further away it becomes bigger blocks. PC and max graphics settings btw.
4.7 years ago@pedro16797 i had noticed it on both this is on mobile.
4.7 years agoI noticed that the shoreline east of the space center is kind of blocky, i dont know how fixxable that is, but it has always been kind of an eyezore compared to the otherwise beautiful landscape.
4.7 years ago@GrayStar then i suggest switching to then newest beta, there are a lot of useful features and changes that make planet editing easier.
4.7 years agoUntill we get proper ui you'll have to duplicate existing ones, though you can easily do that by saving an existing body with a different name in planet studio. 4.7 years agoBe sure to look here if there is already a suggestion about this, if not you can make your own and add a link on this post.
4.7 years agoI was thinking about doing that anyways
4.7 years agoJust go down 7 forum posts, its literally the same question.
4.7 years agoIts stored in the game files, on android its:
4.7 years agoandroid/data/com.jundroo.SimpleRockets2/
files/Userdata/PhotoLibrary
@SRIMRSA np
4.7 years agoNo, though mods can do it but they mostly won't.
4.7 years agoNo its a seperate purchase sadly.
4.7 years ago@socialist yeah you're gonna have to wait for the android beta
4.7 years ago@socialist yes, it works on every platform where you can edit your files.
4.7 years ago@xEzzx its all good, I'm chill
4.7 years ago@xEzzx first of all the astronauts are certainly fine with the fuel they have, they have about 600m/s of delta v, real life eva jetpacks have about 5-10m/s, second of all what do you mean that pc has more stuff than mobile, if you're talking about the dev console, there arent that many useful commands anyways and if you're talking about mods, there are only a few that actually add a lot to the game, also modified sandboxes like ESS or RSS work on mobile too.
4.7 years ago@Wiccanway no problem
4.7 years ago@AtlasSP weird, never seen or heard of these issues before
4.7 years ago@Chtite451SR2 which link?
