You got something else wrong too. the Saturn V was not designed with skylab or other heavy payloads in mind. it was designed for the apollo missions, which took human astronauts to the moon. it was later modified to carry the Skylab space station
In real life an object does not technically orbit another object, but rather the center of mass. ex: every planet in our solar system "orbits the sun", technically this is not true, the sun has 99% of our solar system's mass, due to this, all the planets orbit what is almost the center of the sun. the sun orbit's the Milky Way's center of mass, and the Milky Way galaxy and the Andromeda galaxy orbit a center of mass that is not around another object, but in the emptiness of space (because they are similar in size) this point the 2 orbit is where the Milky Way and Andromeda galaxy will collide with each other in some 4 billion years. The Milky Way and Andromeda galaxy orbits larger structures too, and so on
@Emin2904 the "a" should be inbetween brackets, like [a]. because when he said that, the "a" was not heard, but later found out that he did actually say that, but it could barely be heard, so they put it in brackets
@Nooneoone XML is kind of like HTML, though while HTML is the structure of websites, XML is kind of like a small database (i think. i'm not all that sure the difference between XML and a database)
@Nooneoone yes, you can make a engine have 9000000 power, but cannot make new parts and stuff, etc (although you can change some stuff in the xml to get a really cool reflective color and i think transparent fuselage blocks. if that counts as a "texture")
XML is a way of storing information for the programming languages to use, it is not actually a programming language though, so you can't actually make mods using XML, however you can edit the properties of a part (size, rotation, etc) , XML modding is used a lot on SimplePlanes, and probably will be used a lot on SimpleRockets2 also, as it is a easy way to get past the designer's part customization limitations.
If you want to make mods for SR2 or SP you will need the Unity game engine, though i'm not yet sure what version is needed for SR2, but SP requires version 5.3.6f1. you can easily make custom maps to use in the game without knowing any programming at all. If you want to make stuff like weapons, new parts that do stuff, etc, you'll need to learn one of these programming languages: C#, Javascript, or Boo. Of course, there are many more programming languages but these are the ones that the Unity game engine uses.
I highly recommend C#, as most of the Unity community knows C#, and i'm 99% sure SP and SR2 is written in C#.
But that's just my opinion, it's your choice
@iLikeipads @Daekstor @destroyerP there are 4 quarters in a year, Q1; January, February, March. Q2; April, May, June. Q3; July, August, September. Q4; October, November December.
@RailfanEthan you find this funny? pathetic
+1 6.1 years agoDude delete this
+1 6.1 years ago@Exospaceman ikr. Why do some people make jokes about stuff like that? it's stupid
+1 6.1 years agoplease get rid of fact 4, that is not funny one bit. it is very disrespectful
+2 6.1 years agoAlso, Enterprise was never operational, it was a mock-up built for testing the shuttle carrier aircraft. and you missed one: Endeavour

6.1 years agoI doubt there'll need anymore beta testers, next will probably be open beta or early access
6.2 years ago@Ryn176 buy more ram
6.2 years agoYeah, like how this qoute is from 1864, yet the internet did not exist then
+1 6.2 years ago@Chancey21 well i wasn't sure if i should of made it public, but eh oh well. guess it doesn't matter now

will there be a option to make fuselage blocks hollow?
6.7 years ago@Awsomur LOL, good one
6.7 years agoy re wee tallkig lki ths @Awsomur
6.7 years agostep 49274 would be before step 472857 cuz it's a lower number
6.7 years ago@chancey21 actually, the exact opposite of what you said. putting it here lowers the chances of it happening
6.7 years agoput this suggestion on uservoice
+1 6.7 years agoum, SP is more active than this
6.7 years ago@RailfanEthan if you want a bigger explosion in SP, hide a boom 50 on the plane/train/rocket/car/truck/etc
6.7 years ago@iLikeipads idk, i tagged everyone that commented on this post

6.8 years agoUm, simplerockets 2 isn't released yet
6.8 years agoWill there be a launch escape system in SR2? like on the Saturn V and other NASA rockets
+1 6.8 years agono... just... no...
6.8 years agoand just hide them inside a fuselage
+3 6.8 years agoyou'll probably be able to paint them like in simpleplanes
