Due to the nature of the atmospheric scattering that we've implemented, it is pretty much just a trial/error endeavor to get the colors that you want, so it certainly isn't just you. We'd like to make it easier at some point, but we don't have anything planned as of yet.
@NoIDontWanna @Putrakingpig I do not mean to censor anything, but if a topic appears to be going down a road which benefits nobody, I will delete replies. I'm not saying either of you have done that, but just a reminder.
We got a reply back from Apple, and unfortunately it has little info regarding the beta's status. They did tell us that everything is good on our end, they're just waiting to get the approval through. I'm assuming they must just be behind for some reason.
Just FYI, we have contacted Apple to see if they can give us an update on the status of the beta approval. We'll let you know when we have any more info.
@Kishore0115 Please send an email to games@jundroo.com, and let us know the email address associated with the GooglePlay account you used to purchase SimpleRockets 2 and we will look into it further.
@Chrisshark It has been made available world-wide, but it still may take some time to be pushed out to devices.
@Shukhar Just a guess, but I imagine there will be at least one more beta before the final release. I would say late next week would be the earliest for the final release.
@Kishore0115 We have given mobile updates here, here, and here, and then released the beta on mobile last night. I'm not sure what else you wanted as far as communication.
@Kishore0115 I just checked, and the beta should be available in India whenever GooglePlay pushes it out there. As far as when that may be, I do not have any more information, sorry.
@MclovinSpace Thanks! We've all enjoyed watching your videos...your moon base is looking incredible! Also, we've noticed you having some issues binding keys (in particular using the LShift for jetpack). Have you tried resetting your bindings to their defaults?
@Kishore0115 Have you confirmed that you're still in the beta program? Go to the store page on your device . It should have "SimpleRockets 2 (Beta)" as the title. You can also scroll down to the beta section where it should say "You're a beta tester" right below the Developer contact section. @SmallLittleGreenGuy This is the section where you'd join the beta.
If you are already a tester, you could try restarting your device, and then check to see if there are any updates available by following these instructions. Beyond that, I'm afraid it may just take more time...I did an "immediate rollout" to all devices to make it as fast as possible, and that's about all I can do. For whatever reason, GooglePlay takes more time to push out to some devices.
We're hoping to get the mobile out by the end of next week. @Dogetato9974 @TOMJeb117 @socialist @Dogfish5550 @Sneezitz @Funtimeh @suiyuan @Davidtheduke
@OldCoach Is your scroll wheel click-able? That is usually the middle mouse button on most mice. The final release will have the input as bind-able so you can change it if you don't have a middle mouse button available, though.
@Yathish Mobile testers are extremely important to us, there are a ton of different mobile devices and the more we can test on, the better.
But, we're a small team and releasing updates takes time. It's not just as easy as "do another build." They all have to be tested and go through the process each platform has setup. Steam has the quickest/easiest release procedure of all platforms in my opinion, so it just makes sense to beta test there while a release is in the early stages. Even on Steam it usually ends up taking close to half a day of someone's time, and usually everyone stops what they're doing for a good chunk of time at some point to test out the release before it is pushed to a public branch. Google Play is fairly painless as well, but we don't typically release for one mobile platform and not the other. This beta in particular is going to require additional UI changes for mobile, which are not completed yet, so it just doesn't make sense to release it at this time.
@Shukhar No, mobile beta will not be out tomorrow, unfortunately. It will likely not be out until next week. We probably have one or two more PC-only betas to work through before it's ready.
@KROOKIE132 Have you tried contacting Apple support? Can you send us a copy of your receipt, or any information you have of the purchase to games@jundroo.com, or if you prefer, send us a dm @JundrooGames on Twitter? We will try to sort the problem out as soon as possible with Apple. Sorry for the trouble!
@KROOKIE132 I imagine you are referring to the Google Play Store's "Pre-registering". When you pre-register, it does not mean you get it for free once released...that functionality just reminds you that is has been made available. You still have to buy it once it has been released.
If you pre-ordered, and have paid for it via the Apple App Store, but have not received it, you should try to contact their customer support. We do not have visibility/control into their purchasing info/mechanisms.
@Mod Yeah it is hard to know for sure if you don't have ironclad reproduction steps (1 exit attempt = one crash). Since it didn't happen every time, we just don't know for sure that it is fixed, but it seems like it might be...and if it does still exist, we're at least fairly confident that it occurs less frequently.
@danthecoloradan It must be a macOS thing...Andrew was having the same issue and we assumed it was an isolated incident and didn't think much of it...thanks for reporting.
@pedro16797 Regarding your comment "...I realized how much we need the planned burn window in Flight View..." I just thought I'd point out that you can click the push-pin in the top left corner of the planned burn window and it will keep showing in flight view.
Gotta say, that gizmo bug is one of the most embarrassing bugs I've let slip by...I obviously had tunnel vision while fixing something else. Sorry about that.
@pedro16797 Sorry for the delay. Yes, you're correct. The mass that is important for our calculations is the mass of the body being orbited. We do not consider the mass of the orbiting body as that is assumed to be insignificant in relation to the body being orbited.
You can't directly change the orbital period of a planet to a certain value, unfortunately. It is dictated by how "large" the orbit is...aka it's semi-major axis. The closer it is to the sun, the shorter it's orbital period will be.
@Pumpkinman04 Yes, we're adding more planets.
+2 4.0 years ago@Gaenox Have you tried lowering your refresh rate under the display's quality settings? That can have a big impact on thermals.
4.4 years ago@Rizkyman Thanks a lot! I was able to reproduce the problem w/that craft, and will look into it.
4.5 years ago@Rizkyman How reproducible is the Map View issue? Can you provide specific steps which make the issue occur?
4.5 years agoDue to the nature of the atmospheric scattering that we've implemented, it is pretty much just a trial/error endeavor to get the colors that you want, so it certainly isn't just you. We'd like to make it easier at some point, but we don't have anything planned as of yet.

4.7 years ago@XBeastX Can you try updating? I released a hotfix (v0.9.205) this morning which addresses the issue.
4.7 years ago@socialist I just re-released the same patch as 0.9.205 so you will be able to tell when you've got it.
4.7 years ago@socialist It might take some time for the update to be made available worldwide by Google.
4.7 years ago@socialist @ArseniyPlotnikov A hotfix for that issue has been pushed out, thanks for reporting it. The version number did not change.
4.7 years agoWe have seen the issue w/grappling hook and jump icons disappearing, fyi. That should be fixed in the next release.
+1 4.7 years ago@Shibe fyi - I edited the post to add a list so it is a bit easier to refer to.
Regarding #3, have you found a way to reliably reproduce the issue?

+2 4.7 years agoYeah, it is still waiting for approval at Apple...we are at their mercy, unfortunately.
+1 4.7 years ago@tmoon1386 Can you give a link to crafts which are exploding?

@P51M I'm hoping they'll be happy to get their hands on the final version. For now, anyone who wants to can check out the beta.
Also, I really don't want this to turn into another mobile vs. PC thread.
+1 4.7 years ago@socialist v0.900.2 is not yet on Android, we're hoping to get it out to mobile devices by the end of the week.
+2 4.8 years ago@pedro16797 Pedro, that list is fine, I've added it to my internal list. Thanks for the feedback!

+3 4.8 years ago@manfri06 The update is currently on the beta branch for Steam.
4.8 years ago@OldCoach Glad to hear that worked :)
4.8 years ago@SelectAKey Maybe at some point, but IVA won't be in the initial release.

5.0 years ago@OldCoach Ok, if you ever run across steps to reproduce the issue again, please let me know.

5.2 years ago@KROOKIE132 What app store are you referring to?
5.2 years ago@pedro16797 Does it still hang with the current beta? I alt+F4 out almost every time and have yet to see it.
