Length isn't really the issue. Just made a 1KM long rocket. But it's mostly empty, because weight is what limits it. Haven't been able to get a working rocket above 150/200M Kg.
Probably not what you wanna hear, but try reinstalling.
A couple days ago got a Vizzy message stuck in the screen even when the craft wasn't running the code that displayed said message. Tried some stuff, didn't work, so had to reinstall it.
Make a backup of all your crafts and whatnot before, though.
Are the ion engines attached to the xeon tank? I can only get them to work when directly attached to the xeon tank, even if they're both attached to each other and "fuel line" is on.
@Natedog120705 That's happened to me too.
I tend to avoid undo because it usually messes things up, so I guess you'll have to check everything. That's what I do at least. Or, if you have a previous save, you could redo it. Sometimes, I prefer to do it all over again, than check everything. Not ideal, but well, until Vizzy gets more stable, there's not much else that can be done.
@rickgamer0503 Oh, ok.
Well, I don't think you're supposed to have 2 "start"s. You could use broadcast and receive.
But other than that, I can't really help since I haven't done an automatic landing program yet. Maybe ask NoName101 since he's done it.
Discard and exit is suppposed to discard the changes, not delete the program. But yeah, I have the same problem on Windows. Set(Slider X) to Y is switched but Input(Slider X) is not.
@Muskoka You need a "dedicated" fuel tank for battery, regardless of when you do the re-entry burn.
When you're going up, the engines usually take care of changing the pitch. But when you have a commmand pod alone, it uses the onboard gyroscope to do that.
And it's the gyroscope that's eating all the battery (if I'm not mistaken).
Just put a little fuel tank with battery between the command pod and the heat shield. e.g.
Well, it actually took me a while to find that out when the auto pilot was released. Had a couple frustrating days always having to change the values until I "discovered" that.
Edit: Now that I think about it, is there a way to permanently to always have the flight view, heading and activation groups open? It's really annoying having to open them in every single flight.
On the part properties of the command pod/chip, change the autopilot values to what you want, save the craft with the changes and they should remain the same.
On PC, Shadowplay (if you have an Nvidia card), MSI Afterburner for AMD cards or OBS with buffer recording lets you do that.
Maybe there's similar apps for Android/iOS.

4.8 years agoIIRC, MarioG made a tutorial.

4.9 years agoFor the public. The beta was released in Dec. 6 according to Steam.
+1 4.9 years agoOh, Vizzy? 0.8.402 was released around mid December IIRC.
+1 4.9 years ago0.8.201 with the autopilot came out like 2 months ago.

Yeah, happened to me a couple of times. Now I'm always saving and making backups.

The ^ symbol is for exponents.
4.9 years agoBut yeah, brackets would be cool. In the meanwhile you can make them like this.
Sounds like the pilot orientation is upside down

+1 4.9 years ago"Little update", it seems only the "set(slider X) to Y" is switched. The same doesn't happen with "input(slider X)".
They're custom expressions. They don't show up because you have to "XML them in".
+1 4.9 years agoThat's definitely not good
4.9 years agoI think Vizzy has the sliders switched. Like setting slider 1 to 1, sets slider 2 to 1 instead.

4.9 years ago@DeboStreams Oh, I thought maybe you cancelled the project, so "just" a delay is good news
