I'm not sure if you could do exactly what you're saying, but you could link the craft to your bio, or as I've started to do, make a page that lists all of your crafts/videos/etc with links, so it's all in one place and easy to find
@Chtite451SR2 lol Now I see what you mean! I actually forgot to double check that last night and honestly thought it worked right since they turned blue(it doesn't turn blue if I type random stuff after the @)
@MitusAreospace okay. I'll try to finish the lander soon so I can test it and make sure it works right. As far as the rover goes, that might take awhile, but I'll keep that at a high priority.
@MitusAreospace lol I thought about that, but the lander's unfinished still and I don't have a rover yet. I would take the contract anyway, but I can't guarantee I'll have the time to work on it
@Chtite451SR2 lol are you sure? I'm eventually gonna have my stock info and a link to it from here. I'll also do one for my other companies. Mostly I thought you guys might be interested in how I'm setting my stuff up since it'll make it easier once the stock market is working
FYI: The craft pictured is a prototype unmanned lander under development by the IRS. Specifics are mostly confidential, but the lander is specifically intended for use on bodies with no atmosphere such as Luna, TT, and others. It's goal is to study the surface of various bodies in advance of future missions.
Idk if you can display a camera's view on an mfd. I do know, that you can control which camera view you're currently viewing with vizzy, but I haven't figured it out yet(I tried yesterday for the Magellanic 1 launch coming up)
I caught the announcement on discord. It said iOS got it first, but it should be available by now for Android/pc too. I'll have to check though to make sure
@Tweedle_Aerospace Yes, that's what they "claim", but what they don't tell you is that every time you click on a link, open a website, or do basically anything, you're agreeing to let them share some info(usually just metrics for statistical purposes) and it doesn't warn you that it's doing it. They also openly share info between companies that are under their control. I have a YouTube channel, and if I had enough views, it would show me info about demographics (age, gender, country, traffic source, etc.) that I'm surprised it even shows me, but YouTube is owned by Google, so it's technically not sharing info(although every add on youtube uses your info to target you). Then there's cookies, which you have to accept to visit most sites, and part of the agreement for those is that they can see some of your info(once again for statistics and advertising) and those usually don't pop up, or if they do it's just "This site uses cookies. Accept?" and it blocks your view of the site on purpose to get you to click accept. And yeah, apps have ask for your permission to do certain things, but they only have to ask general questions(like "can this app access your camera/microphone?" not "can we use your camera/microphone to secretly record you?") which could mean anything and include anything.
Look. I'm not trying to argue or anything, and I totally get what you're saying. We're supposed to be able to trust the internet, but we really can't. Even with the best intentions, sometimes things just don't work right. The internet was supposed to be free access to information for all, but it seems like it's turning into a corporate cash cow where the only information available is how to make more money or scam more people using the internet...
Sorry man. I didn't mean to drag this on like this... I'm done with this whole subject for now, just had to get that out there. I hope things go better for you in the future and you don't get any more scam messages.
@Mustang51 I actually hadn't seen that video in forever and forgot about the other cycles when I first responded...but yeah, I think gas 2 is just closed cycle(but I can't say which one for sure without asking the devs).
And I believe that's just the names the devs went with? Idk, but it seems like they took a little creative liberty with naming certain things(although I understand why. Rocket science is confusing sometimes lol).
@Tweedle_Aerospace well... Yes. And. No. They do sell aggregate info(stuff like they use for targeted advertising, age, general location, etc) and they share most of your basic info with other "trusted" sites and agencies for statistical analysis. They don't however, like to give out info to scammers and untrustworthy people, but it still happens occasionally (even google falls for scams sometimes). And yeah, other sites are where most of that stuff comes from.
@HermesE not sure about that. It might work like that, but you might have to add more checks to see if another mfd is active or some kind of override for the door to function properly. Otherwise, I think you've done a fine job of prototyping something I didn't even know I was missing out on! 🤯
@Tweedle_Aerospace It still might not be Jundroo's fault directly. For all we know, they might just "rent" their domain from another company(like Wordpress or Wyx) that sells our info without Jundroo's knowledge. It could also still be something completely unrelated like an email bot that messages every email account it possibly can regardless of who it is. The only way to know for sure that it is caused by this site would be to create another new email and not use it for this site, but definitely use it for some other site you trust just as a test. Or send a couple messages back and forth between your old email. If that email also gets the same kind of messages, then it can't be Jundroo's fault.
As a side note, my mom has gotten spam emails about weird stuff(mostly obvious links to porn, but also really bad stuff too) off and on for the last 10 years or so. They go away for awhile, but then pop up by the hundreds every so often, whenever the economy isn't that great(like the last year now. Every time there's government aid money, the scammers come running).
@GalaxyEye Second hand makes it sound like something you bought in a thrift store. Or when you have to wear your older siblings old clothes instead of getting new ones. I do get what you mean though, it just has a weird connotation when you say it like that
@HermesEngineering I'll be uploading a few prototypes I've been working on, but need some help with. I also finalized my first Test Sat, so I'll be uploading that too. You'll have to wait for the upcoming launch to check out the Magellanic 1 v.0.4 though 😎
I've recently been messing around with this and I believe so. What Tweedle said is right on the mark(give or take 50km) as far as I know. It might not be to scale with the rest of the system, but it should work more or less like GEO irl
True. We might also get lucky and get to see the first launch off one of the new floating launch pads in that case(if they can finish it by then). It took F9 quite a few tries before it landed successfully, but after seeing SN8-10 perform way above expectations, I think BN2-3 have good chances of success
@HermesEngineering Impressive design! Waaaay more advanced than anything I've done yet, but I'm also just starting(and still learning). You know how to use vizzy? I get the very basics, but I'm no programmer so it's like learning a whole new language (which I've tried multiple times... spanish... chinese... russian...). Could you possibly teach me some stuff(or at least give me tips and help when you can?) if so, because then I could finish my crafts to the level of functionality I want( I've been playing with some MFDs I downloaded for gps, etc and I want to make stuff like that)
Have you set every part in between the engines and the tanks(including the tanks) as fuel lines?
3.7 years ago@plane918273645 ahhh makes sense. Thanks for the answer!
3.7 years ago@Staticalliam7 is it one of your crafts? If so, how do spotlights work?
3.7 years agoIdk what is that? Is that off a craft post?
3.7 years ago@Tweedle_Aerospace lol not the response I expected! 🤷🏻♂️
3.7 years agoWhat's this? O_o
3.7 years agoI have no clue. I guess maybe that's why people post links on their bio's and stuff
3.7 years ago@Staticalliam7 On a more serious note, it might help to break it down I to chunks:
1) You need to keep track of your fuel. This includes fuel consumption as well as fuel needed for maneuvers.
2) You need to calculate the optimal trajectory for your LV, taking into account the limitations of stages 1&2 based off fuel & ∆v margins.
3) You need some way to target your LZ and calculate the necessary flight path for boostback
4) Some kind of PID to make corrections throughout the flight and get more accurate landings
5) And of course the suicide burn(or hoverslam if you prefer that)!
3.7 years ago@Staticalliam7 lol it's actually "the International Rocket-Surgery Syndicate" ;) ;) (I swear if you blow our cover!)
3.7 years agoJust do what SoulBlazer said. For more info check this post out

Droo York Stock Exchange 4 life!
3.7 years ago@MitusAreospace cool. Hopefully you'll only have to do that the first time, then go back to both at once!
3.7 years ago@Chtite451SR2 lol Now I see what you mean! I actually forgot to double check that last night and honestly thought it worked right since they turned blue(it doesn't turn blue if I type random stuff after the @)

3.7 years agoThis page is currently a WIP and will be updated as much as possible to become a one stop source for all info regarding OrbITech.
3.7 years ago@Chtite451SR2 idk... The only way to find out would be to try it out though 😜
3.7 years ago@YaMomzBox420 or am I?
3.7 years ago@YaMomzBox420 lol jk
3.7 years ago@Chtite451SR2 lies all of it! WE KNOW YOUR STOCK MARKET IS RIGGED! 🧐

3.7 years ago@GalaxyEye Thanks!
3.7 years ago@GalaxyEye Thanks for adding me to the list!
3.7 years ago@Arstotzka agreed. I was gonna say more or less the same thing!
