Well for rotators it isn’t needed, just type what you want,
But for a wing you have to add an input controller then go to the “inputID”, and put for example Slider 1
Then when you set the wing to slider 1, the input controller below overrides this with its value
It’s all about balance really, you gotta account for the moment created by the force of gravity, so centre of lift then distance to centre of mass multiplied by force, and that’s the resultant moment. Too counter this you have to throttle your engines more in the direction the moment is, and less in the opposing direction. It’s a pretty difficult thing to do. And to be completely honest I failed at doing that XD and I ended up using a radially symmetric design@MasterOfNone

It goes from 1->3 bars and then a star, then next rank

Well that isn’t exactly detecting a wall in the way I was intending, non contact is preferable, but you could easily have a mapping code then detect without crashing if the arena is setup right @Chtite451SR2
You can’t detect walls at all in vizzy, however you can detect landscape, so if the arena was made with a hole below it reflecting its exact shape that would make wall detection possible @Chtite451SR2
Yeah, I’m thinking vizzy could still be used, if tracking the other crafts position is allowed, could potentially use that to destroy the other @Chtite451SR2
In order to effectively code a bot we will need the area, to be able to get the data correlating to the size and boundaries and middle coordinate, otherwise bots might just drive off the edge without knowing it @Chtite451SR2
I’ve revised what you’ve sent, firstly there is no attachment for a command chip to go in a wheel, the method I’m trying to do is with tinker add a vizzy program to the wheel, you can then use funk to do [name].ResizableWheel.CurrentRpm and then using a PID to tune its input controller, thr one issue I’m having though is the rpm read by funk has no sign, meaning I don’t know if the wheel is driving forwards or backwards, and it confuses the PID on the rpm it wants. @SamTheFox
I’m definitely interested though, I’m still thinking of the best strategy, stay in the centre?, dodge all attacks? Predict the opponents location and charge forward? It’s a very cool task to code! That’s for sure!
I’d say, not to limit the use of vizzy, as even advanced players will have different coding such a task, and the advantage isn’t that much. A simple program that’s default sure, but the option to add more advanced algorithms would be nice. Also 1 program will have a hard time adjusting to sumo configurations and such. @Chtite451SR2
The absolute value should only really be used for scalars, but yes a one dimensional vectors length is an absolute value, as length, just like in the real world can never be negative, as negative numbers don’t exist in real terms if that makes sense
its called spool time, you have to account for this. shut the engines down earlier
2.6 years agoNo
+1 2.6 years agohere@TritonAerospace
2.6 years agoI told you how to do it for wings. @TritonAerospace

2.6 years agoIt’s called subtracting roll @Matrice
2.6 years agoSo, you can type into it,
2.6 years agoRoll+Yaw for example
Slider 1 however turns into Slider1, no space
Also I read your bio, instead of downloading the craft, copy the Link at the top, then paste that in the game, it will load the craft.

2.6 years agocant

2.6 years agoignore this, we gave up btw XD

2.7 years agowaht, isnt there already forums on this? or is this to assist those that couldnt find them
2.7 years agothis… isn’t hard work, plus 1000, could possibly get flagged and counted as spam upvoting @Zenithspeed
2.7 years ago1000 points is a little excessive, what colour you want it?, this is just black and white
+2 2.7 years agoGood you were able to find a solution I guess
2.7 years agoAnd no you can’t stop water rendering inside a craft
2.7 years agoYes, enabling this renders anything regardless if it’s in cockpit type thing. Lost things get hidden if put there @PNSXK
2.7 years agoComedy,
2.7 years agoYou’d need to give use the exact coordinates, and radius though @JamesValino
2.7 years ago@Chtite451SR2 that probably wont happen if they both are similar weight
