@67milo I will only be adding simple templates that show how to make general elements a planet may have, like aurorae, clouds, tidal locking, etc. Of course, you are free to make the template if you want to, but it will not be added.
@Zenithspeed sorry for bothering you again but AK5Z was asking me on steam if I had Esperteld downloaded and unfortunately I don’t, so if you have it downloaded could you post it here like wekeldier.
@Zenithspeed Just a little question but do you have Wekeldier downloaded, and if you do could you send it to me here because I've completely forgotten how to make good gas giants.
@AK5Z Just take your time and really experiment and try out different ways of making things. Once I have editing software and stuff like that I'm probably going to upload some planetmaking tutorials on my youtube but for now that place is just a dumping ground for random things I do.
I keep trying to link my youtube in this comment but it keeps redirecting to some random guy so my yt is in my bio
@Zenithspeed I don’t have an exact completion date but I will probably start uploading the crafts and complete planets in a couple of months. The project itself I am currently calling “New Humanity” and the timeline so far is from the late 2040s to 2500, once I have my computer fixed I will be able to write down all the lore (which there is a metric sh*ttonne)
I also have another project that is currently entering it’s first stages, you should expect to see that in about a decade or so…
I support anyone who tries to make themselves better, one of the main reasons I deleted my old account Ylias was because I was a toxic asshat. I wish you well on your journey to become a better person.
@Ionic my pcs broken at the moment so I can’t help with specifics, but the actual xml files are pretty easy to understand so it’s not very difficult to get what most things do.
@QuantumSpaceIndustries Find sr2 in your files (Usable directions in the comments here) and then open GameData>CelestialDatabase>PlanetarySystems and then open whatever system you want to edit with notepad.
@Hyperant I know you’re joking but I don’t really like it, as well as other things I don’t really want to talk about, last year around October I got out of a very shitty situation I was in but recently the trauma is really crushing me mentally and I’m just not capable of doing or making much of anything, except really slowly and I usually just end up throwing it away.
@Spitty I don't really get what you mean by "tutorial for cloud cover" but if you mean what kind of noises you should use than I can't really help you with "Terran" cloud cover since earth-like worlds could have wildly different climates and atmospheres, so I'd just recommend messing around with noise combinations and warps until you find something that looks nice. For Venusian clouds add an Axial Twist warp with Distance From Axis Inverse with an angle between -200 and -400.
Both games have their ups and downs, wouldn’t put either over the other.

+2 one year ago@AK5Z I guess i’d say Augustus is better since it’s a lot more significant, with Augustus of course being the name of the first Roman emperor.

+2 one year ago@AK5Z if you want, but I can not guarantee I will make it. I want to focus fully on NH for now.
