@XionmassResearchDevt it is just a cultural reference in appreciation for a very popular show that is warched by dozens of millions, not what I would call something nobody knows. If at any moment we receive a petition to rename it or take down the image from them that would be done immediately, because again, we are using it to show our appreciation for what they do and don't have any intention to mock or annoy them. I would personally be surprised to see any judge ignoring the clear reference because someone started spreading a conspiracy theory.
@XionmassResearchDevt as you know I do my best to moderate that server. Toxic people that break the rules we have in place are banned, I'm sure you can tell. Since you are banned from the server if you want to submit any image to the challenge you can DM me over Discord the images.
@CORC not having weapons is something I really like about the game. Not every game needs to be about shooting things down or killing others. And for those that want to cause mayhem, it is possible to use the existing parts to make missiles and guns, so the option is there, it's just not convenient.
Most of the things you propose here were already suggested, so the closed suggestions section is of no harm, your suggestions if just duplicates of existing ones would be either merged with them or disregarded.

About this post in itself. There were many things the game was lacking for career mode, we have addressed most of them over the entirety of this year, delaying the actual career mode update substantially in benefit of having a more polished game. We can't delay it any more.

Your first point of things that are necessary include (I'm quoting): something nice to have, something just for those that want to make orbital shipyards, and something you want.

About the second category, not everyone wants futuristic engines, they would be hardly of any use in a game without interstellar travel, and interstellar travel is not in the scope of the game. Drood tools are also a huge niche thing, and although I agree map view could see some love (I've made plenty of suggestions before joining the team myself) most players don't need orbital maneuvers because they just stay around the home planet.

We really appreciate the feedback, but don't forget this is what you want to see in the game, not what the game needs or what everyone needs. By having that mindset you are just going to be frustrated because the game isn't a perfect match for your own needs.

If the game does well after the release of 1.0 there are many things that could see improvements. As I mentioned the map view could get better tools not just for maneuvers but for transfers between planets. Mining would be really cool and we've mentioned in the past comms and science parts would be great to have too. But as of right now those things are totally out of the scope of what we are doing, Jundroo is a very small team, and SimpleRockets 2 is a very small game compared to others in the industry.
@DrooMulticompany do you have any idea of what may be causing the crashes? So far you seem to be the only player that has reported such crashes, so we may need your help to figure out how to fix it
Join the iOS beta here and the Google Play beta here. Join the Steam beta by right-clicking SimpleRockets 2 in the Steam client -> Properties -> Betas -> and then select "beta - Public Testing" from the dropdown.
For now, the update will be only available for Steam on the experimental branch. To join the Steam beta right-click SimpleRockets 2 in the Steam client -> Properties -> Betas -> and then select experimental from the dropdown. Make sure to backup your local files, this is in the experimental branch for a reason, there's a chance of some things breaking, so be careful.
Once we have fixed all the bugs (I'm sure some will come up with how many things we added this time) we will do a full release. The mobile beta will be released next week if nothing is too broken.
@XionmassResearchDevt you are right, you are not the first to suggest it, and you are right this is the wrong place. Under development, you can see a section called Suggestions, there you can use the search function to find the existing one, just type in it "Cockpit"
@XionmassResearchDevt anything that was reported was analysed in good faith. Even if someone with bad rep reports something we take it as seriously as if it was any other player, and I've reprimended and talked with those going after you in various situations. Thank you for understanding.

1.9 years agoThe known issues mentioned in the post are:
- The power generators and RTGs generate are 1000 larger than they should be. The value shown is correct, but the batteries are charged too fast.
- The price of the RTG is super low for the power generated, it will be increased by x15000
- The slant slider is initialized to the wrong value when first opening the part shape tool
- The command disc gyro doesn't initialize its gyro power and utilization on startup correctly
- It isn't possible to launch crafts in Planet Studio
