@jusa122 "JUNO a simplerockets game" is something we considered, but it's super large and keeping the current name there felt odd if we were to change it
@Denis73 you can set collisions to none on any part to disable impact damage, change their impact threshold on the hidden tools to adjust how much damage they get, disable damage entirely using the IDDQD command or adjust your game settings to adjust the damage between 0x and 2x
@JasonCaesar007 sorry for the late response, through intellisense (visual studio) you should be prompted with everything in the mod api. As of right now we don't have the time to make any other form of documentation sadly.
@Utkin Planet Studio is not supported on Android. If you open the settings you should see a series of sliders to adjust the collision and heat damage independently.
@MarcSadbastrd do you have any example of a craft that breaks with a 2m/s impact? If you also has a sandbox just before it collides that'd help a lot too
@Utkin in 915 we bumped up the damage threshold for both capsules and heatshields, and increased the drags chutes have, so that should help with the capsules exploding. Do you have any craft showing the fairing issue? If you make a bug report I'll check it out.
@SpacecoastCorp sure, you can get a proper reply: uovote those suggestions, that's how we can know if it's just you asking for that or if that's the real priority for the community.
Join the iOS beta here and the Google Play beta here. Join the Steam beta by right-clicking SimpleRockets 2 in the Steam client -> Properties -> Betas -> and then select "beta - Public Testing" from the dropdown.

Mobile updates will be rolling out in the coming days as they are reviewed by the respective app stores.
@Boby6Killercz this one is really close to your suggestion, I'd consider them duplicates, since it would solve your problem. If you agree you should upvote that suggestion to show your support.
@Flamoringo I have tried dozens of crafts and they don't break, so luckily it isn't all crafts. If you have any example of such problematic crafts uploaded could you ping me in the comments of a couple of them?

@DrooMulticompany we merge them, but it takes a lot of time to go through all of them, deciding if they are close enough to be merged and finding which one is the original, because titles are super misleading many times
@DrooMulticompany I'm guessing your source is a wikipedia article referring to an archived site talking about the first Falcon 9 version, that even had the old engine layout. Do you have any more up to date reference?
@DrooMulticompany a fairing is not an empty case made out of light materials. A fairing can be way heavier than a fuel tank, I assume that's the case on electron too given the fuel tanks are made out of composites.
@DrooMulticompany they mass was increased a bit because now they come with some heatshield by default, you can lower the heatshield to bring their mass down
@s5ehfr9 we had many ideas on how to implement the system, but we'd rather spend dev time on the game than on such webpage mechanics right now, thus its removal.
This first update will be only available for Steam on the experimental branch. To join the Steam beta right-click SimpleRockets 2 in the Steam client -> Properties -> Betas -> and then select experimental from the dropdown. Make sure to backup your local files, this is in the experimental branch for a reason, theres a decent chance of old crafts breaking, so be careful.
Once we have fixed all the bugs (I'm sure some will come up with how many things we changed this time) we will move to a non experimental beta. The mobile beta will be released no earlier than May 4th.
@JustBru that bug is fixed, but there are additional problems with the mod. Mario (who made the models and maintained the mod) lost all the original files, we are still studying how to fix it

There's a known issue with the wheels and landing legs, the torque values are rounded with no digits, it will be fixed in the next update, sorry for that.

2.3 years ago@AeroplaneBuilder if the fix doesn't work, the most likely cause is the length of the parachute chord being too short
2.3 years ago@AeroplaneBuilder we have a patch almost ready to be released with a fix to minimise that
2.3 years ago@FelixFan1 I think we have been clear enough. You can share it here if you want, it's very likely it already exists.

2.4 years ago@aesnwo you haven't reported any bug, check your internet connection
2.4 years ago@GalacticWorld why would this be pinned if it has much less info than the actual in-game guide?
2.4 years ago@RikHar can you please report a bug about it?

2.5 years ago@Staticalliam7 check the forum post pinned in the mods section, there's a tutorial by MarioG showing how to do that
2.5 years ago@Zenithspeed they came out earlier today
2.5 years ago@TRAPPIST1 it would look ok both in map view and from far away, the only problem is the atmosphere
