blog forums posted by moderators or developers appear in every content category regardless of what the category is
you can see more if you go to development>blog
in the main menu of the game, they appear every update on the top right button. click it, and you should see a “diary” of what the developers are up to, and a summary of the current features
you have a good point, and i have some suggestions if we ever do change it

there's this thing in simplerockets 2 that is called a nav sphere, you can press tab to open it, or you can press the nav sphere button (on the right)
if you want to learn from real life then uhh...
they use the stars???
it should be an SSTO because i can't seem to figure out how to automatically activate the stages properly, unless you want to stage the rocket manually
Chris Hadfield described it as this: "You'll want to go up [slightly pitching towards the east] slowly gaining speed, it's sort of like your rocket is an elevator that goes up to where the atmosphere is thin enough so that drag can be minimized as much as possible"
the planet paint tab requires a compatible noise element in the terrain generation
the planet cubemap requires a cube element or something and images that are precisely distorted in the way a sphere is shaped. it’s hard because a cube and a sphere are two completely different shapes
simplerockets 2 doesn’t let you convert an equirectangular map into a sphere
what even is a celestial map?
if you want a real-life answer, the wikipedia states that "Potential disadvantages of the full-flow staged combustion cycle include increased engineering complexity of two preburners, relative to a single-shaft staged combustion cycle, as well as an increased parts count."
but i'm not sure why this would be a problem in simplerockets 2, i haven't even observed what type of combustion the community uses
so i guess you'll have to zoom a lot
2.4 years agothen your criteria doesn't exist on this site
2.4 years agoin that case, check all the connections, and make sure you break the landing legs' symmetry, otherwise this is a bug
2.4 years agolanding legs need an actual motor, or else expect it to stay static
2.4 years agowhy would you want to make landing gear without actual hinge motors?
2.4 years agoblog forums posted by moderators or developers appear in every content category regardless of what the category is

@s89Aerospace
2.4 years agodon’t those already exist?

+1 2.4 years agoi’m not sure if it means something else, but i thought it meant “okay”
i don't even know what this was supposed to be 😂
2.4 years ago@Marssmmm
2.4 years agopretty much
@Zenithspeed
+1 2.4 years agoi heard the admins are actually bots programmed by the devs or smth
bc i saw in roblox’s bio that “This is an automated account”
another idea i got, Drood Space Agency?
2.4 years agolike kerbal space program, but with droods
uhh okay…
2.4 years agoi don’t think there is any answer for your question that i can give you, you may have to look for the fastest vanilla craft in the website i guess?
2.4 years agofor my device, you can turn down the max loading distance (LOD) and turn off heat vapor trails
2.4 years agowhat are you talking about?
+1 2.4 years ago@WiTriNo
+2 2.4 years agoi think i based it off sfs lol

2.4 years agoit should be an SSTO because i can't seem to figure out how to automatically activate the stages properly, unless you want to stage the rocket manually
+1 2.4 years agolike, the missile should be an SSTO
+1 2.4 years agooh boy theres so much more

2.4 years ago"You'll want to go up [slightly pitching towards the east] slowly gaining speed, it's sort of like your rocket is an elevator that goes up to where the atmosphere is thin enough so that drag can be minimized as much as possible"
the program requires 1 stage, unless you don't want to merge the entire rocket
+1 2.4 years agois the destination arbitrary?
+1 2.4 years agowhat do you want the missile to do?
+1 2.4 years agothe smaller the rocket, the faster it goes
+1 2.4 years agosimplerockets 2 it basically simpleplanes but you can go far beyond the atmosphere
if you're trying to symmetrically put pistons inside the cargo bay, tap "break symmetry" so that you can properly connect the pistons to the ramp

this requires you to simply deploy solar panels using vizzy
on start
if (fuel [Battery]) less than 0.5 then
part (insert the partID of a solar panel) [Activated] to (true)
if you want to magically add battery to your craft, vizzy can't do that
+1 2.4 years agowhen making multiple accounts, it might be hard to keep track of all of them

a joke?
2.5 years agorestart your computer, redownload simplerockets 2, or delete the plane file (recommended)

+1 2.5 years agohow could it possibly slip past my eyes 😆
@TronicOrbital
2.5 years agowhere is the input block?!!!
basically yeah
it's like trying to make a PC from scratch, and it has to have wifi
2.5 years agoif you want a real-life answer, the wikipedia states that "Potential disadvantages of the full-flow staged combustion cycle include increased engineering complexity of two preburners, relative to a single-shaft staged combustion cycle, as well as an increased parts count."

2.5 years agothere is no block that can detect any the craft's inputs, but you can use a block called fUNk, which is beyond my understanding and a fairly new block
+1 2.5 years agoi’m not sure, but it’s probably in xml, you just need to find it
if you want to turn it off, go to settings>game>skybox brightness or smth
2.5 years agoi've never experienced this before
2.5 years agoyou should do droo because it makes it more sense
