@seventeen for lack of better words, getting older sucks. I’m over working all the time and constant exams. I would spend so much more time on here if I could. Not that I’d call my crafts high quality, my new ones may be mid quality, but I haven’t released or had any time to finish any of them due to the above reasons. :(
Hey! I've been designing a website based on this idea, and I just finished it. It shows all the launches in a gallery on the main page, and a calendar showing every scheduled launch. It also has a link that goes to a google forms, where people are able to enter in their launch details, and then from that, their launch can be put on the site.
I have given credit to you on the site for having the original idea, and was wondering if you'd be okay with me putting it up? You would be listed as a co-creator, with a link directly to your account. I definitely don't want to step on anyones toes, especially with such a cool idea, so I wanted to talk with you first. If you want to check it out before giving me the go ahead, just let me know and I'll get you the link!
@JSO18 that could be it. I believe you can change the texture quality of structures through planet editor. That way it doesn’t attempt to load all of them at such high resolutions...
Unless that’s an actual in game setting that you already have set. I can’t remember if it is or not.
Every time I see one of your posts about your Beta vehicle I get confused. I have an in development launcher named Zeta and I always think I accidentally made a post about it, lol.
Good luck on your test!
@Tweedle_Aerospace I used a screen recorder/streaming software called OBS. It was designed for direct streaming so I’m able to overlay the entire interface live while recording. Super cool and helpful.
I'm not even kidding, I did this exact same mission last night! When I did it I was trying to use the smallest and least expensive rocket to get the job done. I'd love to compare our crafts to see the different ways we handled the mission profile.
@RocketBuilder Yeah, there's lots of variety. In France you count down how many years you have left of school, so if you're in 10th grade you say that you're in seconde or 2ème.
@crowxe I have WhatsApp, but that’s it, I apparently don’t like contacting the outside work apparently, haha. And also Twitter or Instagram if that doesn’t work.
@CommanderSword I just realized I totally forgot about finishing the pamphlet about Explorer Co. I got super busy, sorry.
Would you still like me to finish it?
I have flown it fully manually in the fall and landing bit with the base design, it is able to flip without any other “nonexistent” surfaces.
I actually have the first half of the program (though I don’t know how “good” it is) that is able to get it to 20km and fall mostly controlled to the ground. I need some help/guidance in programming the suicide burn and the flip though, that’s the bit I’m having trouble with right now.
@crowxe
The easiest method is to upload the photo to Imgur. Once it's uploaded, copy the image url and in the post writing/edit section, paste it inside of this ![]( paste here )
@Yathish well, sadly that statement is true, testing is easier on computers as opposed to mobile platforms. But also remember that the mods are not actually part of the dev teams, mobile testers do have their place here.
@Yathish @Random3344 I can speak fairly free about this given that I’m on both platforms. While I understand why you feel neglected, you must think about some variables that go into this. The game was designed as a computer game and is only available on mobile because the devs are amazing, it is considerably harder to make a game on mobile thats designed for pc so it takes more of their time. Like many games, the updates will be released on pc first because it takes longer to make sure it’ll work on mobile. I know that the devs wouldn’t treat anyone lesser than other because that’s not how they run, everyone is valuable to them and I know they are probably working very hard to get the mobile beta out while also working on the bugs. And finally, it’s hard to remember that they are a really small team, there’s no need to feel neglected, because I know they do care. And honestly, a week isn’t that long, I think it will be well worth the wait.
I think I speak for everyone when I say that you’re doing great. Everything looks amazing and I am personally very excited to see what is to come.
I hope things get easier for you soon, whatever that may be.
@wwwNews222com Dude, lets take a step back, I honestly mean zero disrespect. I understand what you’re saying, but if you had the ability to win a competition with skills that you took the time learn, wouldn’t you use them. Figure out how to use the tools to their full potential. When the next competition comes around, use everything that you learned. I hope you understand where I’m coming from. Have a nice day.
@wwwNews222com Guess what bud, you only got two points, first place had 31 upvotes and 3rd had 21. You need to stop attacking Mod just because you didn’t win. The world must be a horrible place for you if you can’t understand that. You’re acting like a three year old and no one wants that in this community. I honestly mean no disrespect, but that isn’t how competitions works.
@AshtvinayakAerospace @DrexxVolv I can try and post updates about it here in the future if you’re interested.
3.3 years agoAgreed. Fine for recreations of crafts, but not glorification.
3.3 years agoWhat about a rocket plane, that launches off of a ship?... lol
3.5 years agoLooks great! I’ve been thinking about doing either that GSLV MkIII or a Long March 5 model I found. How difficult was the build?
3.6 years agoLivestream begins at 8:30 am EST, you can access the stream here
+1 3.6 years agoFor sure!
3.6 years agoGood luck man, stay safe.
3.6 years agoI hope everything gets better for you soon.

+2 3.7 years ago@JSO18 that could be it. I believe you can change the texture quality of structures through planet editor. That way it doesn’t attempt to load all of them at such high resolutions...
3.7 years agoUnless that’s an actual in game setting that you already have set. I can’t remember if it is or not.
@JSO18 hmm, weird. Do you think it might’ve changed some settings up when you updated?
3.7 years agoHere I am happy when I get 30-40 FPS on my laptop... lol. I could probably use an actual pc, but money and time are things I lack rn. Haha
I haven’t noticed a huge difference though. Some with high part counts, and when I’m around structures, but overall it hasn’t been too bad.
3.7 years ago@Tweedle_Aerospace Forgot to change that. Lol Thanks for pointing it out!
3.7 years agoEvery time I see one of your posts about your Beta vehicle I get confused. I have an in development launcher named Zeta and I always think I accidentally made a post about it, lol.
3.7 years agoGood luck on your test!
That lander looks super good!
+1 3.8 years agoNice! I love the planning you’ve put into this!
4.0 years ago@Tweedle_Aerospace eh, math is overrated anyway. Lol
+1 4.0 years agoWow, great job man!
+1 4.0 years ago@Tweedle_Aerospace I used a screen recorder/streaming software called OBS. It was designed for direct streaming so I’m able to overlay the entire interface live while recording. Super cool and helpful.
4.0 years agoGood luck! You’ll have to keep us updated!
4.5 years agoI'm not even kidding, I did this exact same mission last night! When I did it I was trying to use the smallest and least expensive rocket to get the job done. I'd love to compare our crafts to see the different ways we handled the mission profile.

4.7 years ago@AndrewGarrison I see, not a problem! Thanks for the update.
4.7 years ago@CommanderSword Alrighty, I’m pretty swamped with classes right now, but I should have it done by the end of the week.
4.8 years ago@KraZIvan Oh, oops, should have done that, I’ll post a link soon.
+1 4.8 years ago@SelectAKey Well... What would you like to do?
4.8 years ago@AstronautPlanes Sounds and looks like an awesome project, have fun and good luck!
4.8 years ago@SupremeDorian I’m a little late, but great job! Congrats!
4.8 years agoWhat do you want to create a tag for?
4.8 years ago@crowxe I have WhatsApp, but that’s it, I apparently don’t like contacting the outside work apparently, haha. And also Twitter or Instagram if that doesn’t work.
+1 4.8 years ago@crowxe I do not have either, would you need me to get discord?

@Kell Ok, I was a little skeptical about that. I’ll make to to edit my comment, thanks.
+1 5.0 years agoGood luck to you, I hope everything turns out ok. I think it goes without saying that you have everyone’s support.

5.0 years ago@wwwNews222com Dude, chill out. Just because you didn’t win doesn’t mean you can whine and cry about it. No one here cares for that type of behavior.
+5 5.1 years ago@CommanderSword I can do that!
+1 5.1 years ago@CommanderSword of course! What would you like included?
5.1 years ago@CommanderSword I made a pretty simple info graphic pamphlet for Phase I because I was bored. If you want you can check it out here
