That's awesome you got a picture of it. Me and my dad saw one last year but we didn't get a picture of it, nor do I think it would've been bright enough to see in an image. We had just been outside talking and my dad was the first to notice it off to our south. It was also the same one that people in California were saying was a UFO.
The objects in what would be the skybox background are completely made by me, as far as I know none of these objects are in the actual skybox background.
@RudimentaryCheezit Ok, sorry to bother you so late but do I need to use the min of and max of in the if then bracket or do I put that in the set variable bracket?
@RudimentaryCheezit In order to get the values for the slider's, do I use the Greater/Less than or equal to vizzy equations ordo I use the Standard Greater/Less than equations? And is there anything else that needs to be added? (Please forgive me, I'm very terrible with Vizzy so I'm trying to figure it out the best i can with my limited knowledge of Vizzy)
All of these are still better than what I am capable of, I can't even make a simple looking airliner without just scrapping the idea because I have the attention span of a squirrel that was hyper focused on something for like a week while chugging bladder buster sized cups of coffee.
Man, I don't have to make false trees anymore when making planets! I really cannot wait for this to be released, especially after having seen the part of the stream where you and Cameron showed off the engine plumes, those looked beautiful.
Hopefully the next launch will go better and not have five raptors (Six technically but the sixth was restarted in moments after it shutdown) shut down on ascent. I also find it interesting that the cartwheels the booster performed was planned to create distance between the ship and the booster.
I don't know if there is a mods folder, but I used to have them run through Steam Boot Strapper, but I think now you do the same thing as when you download craft and systems off of the website.
@Zenithspeed Thank you for the information, I'll try that out. Hopefully with any luck, I can get the continent drawn along with its island that is located in the gulf of said continent.
Well, if you go into the Tinker Panel and edit the hidden properties of the engine. You'll be able to set SupportWarpBurn to True and then that engine will be able to stay burning in time warp higher than 2x-4x time warp speed.
It sounds like a good idea. It would definitely help those who are new to spaceflight and astrology that have just come to the game and want to learn what different things mean.
This is a definite need for the game. It would be nice to have to see ice buildup on the sides of the tanks, and even have the vapor effect when a small amount of humidity is flashed into ice temporarily when the wind blows. This would go great alongside any cryogenic fuels if the devs added any others aside from the obvious LH2/LOX, CH4/LOX, and LH2 for the game.
@Zenithspeed Well I've been slowly working on Droo for the system, I've also put a tiny amount of work into my kerbal system that is going off of SergejGrauberger's Kerbal system. So, it'll be a little bit before I post anything for the system.
@CORC I wouldn't say I'm at that point yet in my time playing SimpleRockets2, maybe when I have five years under my belt, then I might consider trying to do some of the missions that Matt Lowne has done, but right now, nah, couldn't even touch his level of mastery.
I got a question because I've been wanting to do something like this with the Juno Star Cluster. How did you get everything out far enough so that the orbit manager doesn't turn inside out when you try to validate orbits?
For me, I use Kerolox, Methalox, Solid. Methalox is used when I need to have a higher thrust to weight or ISP, Kerolox is generally used when I need to be able to make long burns from sea level to orbit. Solid for when you just have to say ' ' We're a go for launch, no matter what!' '. Other than that, Xenon is what I generally use for having to make long burns outside of an atmosphere between planets, mostly for capture burns though. I guess I just blend in with the rest of the community when it comes to fuel types most used. 😅 But Going from a realism standpoint, I would more than likely choose either Cryo-Kerolox, or Methalox. The latter of the two being chosen when I would want to avoid coking in the engines, because reusability of a rocket is just epic.
Glad I'm not the only who noticed this. I just thought that they were working on a way to create custom Drood's, like KSP with the Create a Kerbal tab in the Alt+F12 menu.
@SamTheFox I'll try, can't say that the pods will completely be functional, but all I have to do is have them be housed in a cargo bay to count and the droods (Maybe just the tourists) access to the space station modules so that you know, they just happen to be ''forgotten'' in orbit.
@HORIZONSPACEUK No problem, I made the mistake of trying to land a module that was on a rover so I could drive it over there to the hub I had landed, and it rolled onto its side during its commute over to the hub. So, I would just want to spread the importance of a scout rover to make sure the location is good for a surface base.
First, a scouting rover would be a good call due to some locations appearing flat but then turning into something like a space themed Jeep commercial. Once you have a location that is relatively flat, then begin to construct the first module, in this case possible hub if you want it to go in multiple directions.
Ok, it should be fixed and displaying the proper image now.
2 days agoIs it working for anyone? I tried using a steam screenshot instead of the png image to see if it worked or not.
3 days agoAlso, Scott Manley is currently on NasaSpaceFlight's stream.

1.1 years ago@RudimentaryCheezit Thank you I'll implement that so that this tank will have depression & elevation limits.
1.1 years ago@Dereric Hey, I just tried out what you recommended, and it has worked so far. Thanks for the help.
1.2 years ago@Dereric I'll also try this. Thank you for the information.
1.2 years ago@AlphaAreospace Ok, I'll try rotating the part to get it looking just right. Thank you for the information.

1.7 years agoLooking good. Can't wait till it's out to fly planes and launch rockets through. Now all we need is a stock game terrain scatterer.
1.7 years ago@Zenithspeed Thank you for the information, I'll try that out. Hopefully with any luck, I can get the continent drawn along with its island that is located in the gulf of said continent.
+1 1.8 years ago@PZLAerospace I actually think it was the fact that they were trying to put some of their private information on here (Like you said Underage.)
1.9 years ago@BeastHunter Same here man. It'll be gone, but not forgotten.
+8 1.9 years agoWell, if you go into the Tinker Panel and edit the hidden properties of the engine. You'll be able to set SupportWarpBurn to True and then that engine will be able to stay burning in time warp higher than 2x-4x time warp speed.

+1 2.0 years agoI definitely listen to Rule #5 the most. It's just such a powerful rule to have to follow.
+2 2.0 years agoMan. This puts the Ssto that I started working on to shame. I have only been trying to get it past the design phase.
+1 2.0 years ago@Zenithspeed Wow, we're both in the same boat then.
2.0 years ago@Zenithspeed Well I've been slowly working on Droo for the system, I've also put a tiny amount of work into my kerbal system that is going off of SergejGrauberger's Kerbal system. So, it'll be a little bit before I post anything for the system.

2.1 years agoDon't mean to bother you, but I have another question: Do you use text editor to edit the systems XML file?
2.1 years ago@Zenithspeed Thanks for the information, I've been racking my mind on how I should get a true star cluster system.
+1 2.1 years agoI got a question because I've been wanting to do something like this with the Juno Star Cluster. How did you get everything out far enough so that the orbit manager doesn't turn inside out when you try to validate orbits?
2.1 years ago@Zenithspeed Go ahead. I got the idea from Matt Lowne's videos, so I mean, it's all kind of free to use.
+1 2.1 years ago@TronicOrbital That is very true, and it's only had one test done and it leaned over to one side enough to start to worry.
+1 2.1 years ago@YaMomzBox420 I'll be sure to release the finished product once I am 110% sure it works and is finished.
2.1 years agoFor me, I use Kerolox, Methalox, Solid. 2.1 years agoNow you'd be able to reach another star system if you keep that speed up. Interstellar is the goal of all droods, no matter how they get there.
2.1 years ago@MrMantis Well, I guess that could explain it, but all the flights I've done in this save were controlled with command chips and command disks.
2.1 years agoNow all I have to work on now is the Harbor, and the city behind the Harbor. And I realized that I messed up, there are 3 towers around the pad.
2.1 years agoGlad I'm not the only who noticed this. I just thought that they were working on a way to create custom Drood's, like KSP with the Create a Kerbal tab in the Alt+F12 menu.

2.1 years ago@Vedhaspace Nice, glad to hear that other people have also used this for building craft.
+1 2.1 years agoFeel free to use any of these to build or base your station off of.
