@nathanmagnus so ive been experimenting a bit and this is what i have so far, it can move, turn around and pick up a cube but its still very rough around the edges and i will keep improving it.
@nathanmagnus sure gonna do some testing later.
About the buttons pedro made clickable buttons that can activate AGs, with the right click on parts to activate them feature this allows really cool interactable cockpits and stuff.
One problem though would be that we cant use mouse movement for looking around.
The beta will take some time to be approved by apple and should be out within the next few days.
For your other problem i have no idea, maybe you could specify more?
@Dala1 if you really want to learn a lot about rocketry i recommend youtube videos from scott manley or everyday astronaut talking about rocket science as they are very informative and mostly easy to understand even for people with not as much background knowledge.
For the game i guess just try playing around with fuel tanks and engines figuring the stuff out for yourself.
@NoIDontWanna but if he is getting enough intake air during launch he would also get enough for the rest of the flight so it has to be something else.
@Pedropuglia could you give us a link to an unlisted version so we could take a look at it?
The engines are actually slightly nerfed compared to real life to make up for the smaller sizes.
Let me point you towards RSS
and Realistic engine overhaul
@Natedog120705 in map view and in the game the sun is a 3 dimensional sphere.
Look at the parts when you get to close to the sun, they get to hot and explode because they are subject to the extreme heat created by fusion inside the star.
The temperature of the surface of our sun for example is multiple thousand degrees celsius going up to about 15 million degrees at the center.
And even if you could survive the extreme heat and the crushing pressures you still couldnt land because the sun is made completely out of gas and plasma and doesnt have a solid surface.

+1 4.8 years ago@AndrewGarrison im asking because im currently trying to make a controllable character with vizzy and mouse as input would be really useful
4.8 years agoWould it be possible to aquire mouse movement as an input with this?
+1 4.8 years ago@nathanmagnus ok but i dought he has anything against it
+1 4.8 years ago@nathanmagnus here
+1 4.8 years ago@nathanmagnus sure gonna do some testing later.

Sounds cool, i might be able to make a controllable character with vizzy

@Dala1 well his most recent video about full flow staged combustion engines and the one about aerospikes are pretty good

@TitanIncorporated but theres a whole lot more you can do with xml editing, tinker panel is just a small part of it
4.8 years agoFeel free to ask any questions on the website or the discord server, there's almost always someone that has an answer.
+2 4.8 years ago@MarioG oh ok
4.8 years agoYou're welcome

@Gabepasc im not a modder myself but i would like such a mod aswell and i think it should be possible to make something like it.
4.8 years agoIts not that easy to make holes in the ground and we dont know how to add structures to the terrain yet (anyone correct me if im wrong).
4.8 years ago@Dracozard im not talking about the tinker panel, i mean in the game settings under physics you have to have part lift forces enabled
4.8 years agoYes, but make sure you have lifting body physics enabled in the settings also the body lift is really weak.
+1 4.8 years ago@TopSecret2 because its just modified xml and not modified code
4.8 years ago@pedro16797 i know, i thought he was just talking about mods with modified code and not just modified xml
4.8 years ago@Jayod99 they dont anymore
4.8 years agoIts crazy how ignorant the people making these laws are.
4.8 years agoYou cant mod on mobile google forbids it now
+4 4.8 years ago@plane918273645 yeah sorry forgot that doing it right now
4.8 years agoYes eventually
+2 4.8 years agoNope the hole in the bay is also just visual the fuel tank doesnt actually have a hole.
4.8 years agoI just tried it using rotators and small pressure fed engines so it does work but the inputs are a bit weird when using the nav sphere to control it.
4.8 years ago14 hours
4.8 years ago@plane918273645 i mean that google or apple change their policies
+1 4.8 years ago@TopSecret2 i hope that situation changes sometime in the future allowing mods on mobile.

You go to the part shape tool tap on the end of a fuel tank or strut and change the corner radius
+2 4.8 years ago@ThePilotDude yes but he was spamming it on every forum post just then
4.8 years agoMy entry
4.8 years ago@NoIDontWanna ok zoomer

The shores are really flat you will have to find a long straight path though
4.8 years agoAre you sure part lift forces are on?
4.8 years ago@Natedog120705 what do you mean the sun is a 3d object like all the other planets
+1 4.8 years agoSounds like a good idea
4.9 years ago@speediplayz np
4.9 years ago@plane918273645 the thrust actually only changes by about 0.5% but because of the lower density of methane the twr gets way bigger.
4.9 years agoAre you aware of the part connection editing tool?
4.9 years ago@yopo thanks
+1 4.9 years ago@Powder @wwwNews222com stop throwing a tantrum just because you didnt win in a fair competition.
+2 4.9 years agoThis is really childish behaviour.
Its to be expected that something breaks when you scrape it along the ground at 100s of meters per second.
+2 4.9 years agoCongrats
+1 4.9 years ago@pedro16797 true that works too
4.9 years ago@yopo Just finished the cygnus spacecraft it alone is 700 parts.
+1 4.9 years agoI'll maybe get it done by tomorrow will see.
