I don’t suggest purely limiting throttle as Tronic suggests, increasing brake as speed overtakes the maximum speed allowed is needed, as limited throttle slows acceleration starting and also hill climbing ability, it also allows the rover to over speed accidentally down a hill
Untrue, the rate at which vizzy runs default is 25 instructions per frame, this isn’t a topically laggy rate if at all but yes a wait (0) reduces this by waiting until the next frame. @TronicOrbital @SamTheFox
@Zenithspeed lies, those are cause by clipping with data, so the height is generated and if the height exceeds the accepted input, usually 1, it is clamped.
Pedro basically does this to be fair, we’ll get like a single line of text among his conversations that hint at development around something, like how the starting place will be the village in the mountains in 1.0 😳
Planet studio already has the ability to do this, it should not be too hard to do I personally think this is just your problem I’d say, without too much effort they can be done @Ylias
What the hell are you on about,
Drag the Funk expression out and type name. ElectricMotor.CurrentRpm Replace name with whatever the motors name is in its part properties
@TronicOrbital
@YaMomzBox420 angle of position minus previous position is an hilariously inaccurate way to go about this, the target vector will get you the direction in PCI, but if you want bearing you will need to flatten to the horizon then use like a atan2 dot nav east and dot nav north.
They are for use with funky trees it’s called, essentially math can be used inside the input to get the desired function. @SamTheFox
Most of the inputs are here https://wnp78.github.io/Sr2Xml/InputController
Yeah that’s probably why it isn’t accessible through a button, but you can set a time period through changing the link up the top of your browser, near Best?d=0 set 0 to be any duration in days as the limit
@Dereric
This is an issue with unity not the devs fault, unity has since unsupported concave meshes with physics and such and so it has an invisible wall, if it was to not have that and behave as expected it would be significantly more taxing on performance, since the inlets purpose is to just be an inlet the best option is to have it not hollow
You should be able to add many saves I guess, and no for me atleast it isn’t a try and fail process, I mostly know what I’m doing since I’ve been using it for ages. There are a few tutorials on YouTube but nothing that goes into complex detail. @Matteovir

Yeah I guess that’s doable, have a set of variables, and while an AG is active you set the variables to slider 1 etc, then when an AG switch happens set the slider values to be equal to the corresponding variable values. @TronicOrbital
So, set variables when moving
Set slider on a change
Set different variables

+1 2.2 years agoWell the best way to limit the rovers speed would be to reduce throttle and increase brake as land speed increases

2.4 years ago@Ylias yes and what im saying is this already exists, its the expression block and position

+3 2.5 years agoDrag the Funk expression out and type
name. ElectricMotor.CurrentRpm
Replace name with whatever the motors name is in its part properties@TronicOrbital
When it’s done in beta, there are still bugs that need to be fixed etc

+3 2.5 years ago@TritonAerospace change them both to target position
+3 2.5 years ago@TritonAerospace its just a way of making a function that can be easily asked for, its a custom block. its has inputs and it will give an output value

2.6 years ago@Zenithspeed single line vs multiple
