@TritonAerospace That's their max range for the R-37M, not the AMRAAM's NEZ. The only, that I found that is, article talking about it said that's the missile used for the kill. But like I said, even half that is probably too much. If we give it the AMRAAM's max range of 160km, it still needs to travel 57km. This is also ignoring the fact they've claimed stuff with no proof before.
@YaMomzBox420 No escape zones tend to be smaller than max ranges. Wikipedia says it tops out at 398km. Even if we give it half that, which is rather unrealistic, the Su-57 has to be flying higher and needs a rookie pilot on the Ukrainian aircraft, so I'm gonna call bs lol
If they did code it into the game, it should be toggleable and off by default. People already complain that the name is misleading with just the fuel types we have now, imagine what they'd say if they saw REO.
You could try RTSS, it's what I use and it never failed me. If you have MSI Afterburner, it's possible you already have it since they come in a bundle.
@FunkPunk True, a lotta people probably found out about it when Scott Manley did videos about SR2. A year after launch, in 2019 or something it could be doable, but 4 years later it's not.
It's efficiency. Diferent fuels have different Isp. Same with different engine types. You can increase it by using a hydrolox instead of kerolox for instance. Lowering the nozzle throat size can also improve it, but it decreases thrust. Nozzle length is also important and usually the vacuum varians are longer than sea level variants.
You should check out Scott Manley. In this one he talks about Isp.
Yeah, I'm not familiar with AHK syntax either lol, so I can't really help. Maybe ask in the discord server in chat or something, maybe someone can help you
I just noticed I said what Schaden said lol. I also forgot to say what Nebula said, if the wings occlusion isn't off, the tanks get in the way and decrease their lift.
But yeah, not an elegant solution having to stuff wings in the tanks to make it work.
Do you have Part Lift Forces enabled? Also, you can just clip the wings into the fuel tanks if the fuel tanks alone don't produce enough lift with Part Lift Forces
Undervolting kinda replaced overclocking, because the turbo boosts in CPUs/GPUs already push the silicon to the max.
Undervolting Ryzen chips voids warranty for instance, but I don't know about GPUs.
It takes voltage/current/temps and whatnot and figures out the best clocks. When you lower voltage, that lowers temps which gives even more headroom to turbo boosts.
Undervolting is specially more important in laptops, since they're usually hotter than desktops.
Well, at some point we all get tired of game(s). Every week (kinda) there's a post about someone taking a break and that's perfectly normal. I personally haven't played anything in a month and haven't played SR2 seriously since August last year.
BF BC2/3/4/1, War Thunder, Besiege, SFS, Space Agency, Atlantic Fleet, KSP, GTA SA/4/5, Dirt 2/3, Strike Fighters 2, CoD 4/MW2/MW3, Among Us, Space Engineers, Empyrion, Minesweeper, GTTOD, sometimes I try the GHPC Demo and a bunch others
@DSPACE Thx m8. There's a xml file called settings in the SR2 folder, but it doesn't have the presets, only the current settings. Haven't been able to find anything else
It does have to do with the PC though, the people you talk to perhaps have similar specs. SR2 is also a lot less laggy compared to similar games. I also have Besiege and around 200 parts I just start lagging like crazy, while in SR2 it's fine until I hit around 1K/1.5K parts.
Have you tried lowering physics and enabling FPS Spike Reduction?
You can't do it in game AFAIK, but you can edit the max and min values in the xml. If you're on pc, you can use the overload mod, if you're on mobile Gozinya made a tutorial on how to edit xml on mobile.
A lot of people have asked for something like this in the past IIRC. Would it be possible to make it a mod like the Mesh2Craft? Either way this is awesome m8!
True. I tested the KA-27 and it's pretty awesome and it deserves the upvotes. But there's also a lot of amazing builds that go unnoticed such as Benssl's Chinese aircraft carrier Liaoning or VictoriaCross' [S.N.N.] Talos Class Battleship.
They must have also taken ages to make and did not get enough recognition.
(Weird, just found out my comment, upvote and VictoriaCross' reply disappeared.)
Like Arstotzka said, it's a feature. It's supposed to simulate real oceans. And in real oceans, light only goes down to ~1km. It's pitch black after that.
KSP does the same
@Subnerdica I only know the basics. I also should have checked earlier if you're on mobile, and you seem to be, so you wouldn't be able to run a mod unfortunately. Seems like the only solution is ion/rocket engines like Chtite said, they work everywhere and have a fuel/electric consumption parameter in the XML. Ion is easier since you can just write the thust and fuel consumption you want and don't have to mess around with chamber pressure and whatnot. You can edit XML on mobile, Gozinya made a tutorial and he's also on iOS
ISS has a pretty good tutorial playlist, that also includes a interplanetary tutorial.
