for JNO you could also add
    - a lot more customizability (since everything is paintable to any color
    - XML editing of craft, planet, etc files lets you do virtually anything (if you know what you're doing)

also, you can actually view SOIs in map view now (its a switch on the bottom of the map view's panel) so you should remove that pro in KSP2, but ye

what happened to the Unity Analytics thing? it was said that we could disable it in-game and we would get a message about it, but i don't see the toggle for it anywhere in settings and have never gotten any message about it in-game since i got the update

@SamTheFox i tried koder but it's way too difficult/cluttered for me, plus everything is an icon rather than text which i hate, even worse is that the bug i mentioned exists there too
(it could be handy in the future tho so i'm keeping it)

you need to edit the system's XML file to allow for numbers bigger than 1000Gm, you can do that with basically any text editor if you're on PC

i've had this issue too, but luckily there's a simple fix
all you have to do is go in settings and enable HDR in the image settings menu, that will enable all of the bloom and whatnot you asked for :)

it's been moved to the flight menu, click the boxy icon on the right side in flight, scroll to the bottom where "options" are, the sliders will be there

in the flight menu, scroll to the bottom, open the "options" tab and you'll see both the heat and physical damage sliders

what you may be looking for is the "undo launch" button, when you're in the pause menu hit the button that you would normally do to exit, but instead go to "retry/undo" (should be the middle one), and after that click "undo flight" (should be on the right) which will basically remove the craft and revert time to when launched, as well as being you to the designer or main menu (depending on if you launched it from menu or from designer obviously)

this whole post was for Zenith Galaxy 2.0, where one of the major stars, Sirodis, is now a K3 star, and its superhabitable planet Utopia has orange grass, so that's pretty cool that i got it sorta right

i'd say draw the fundamental shape of the continent at first, with a large brush at like 40-70% hardness, once you're done with that, get a smaller brush with 60-90% hardness to draw in the details on the edge and whatnot
and be sure to remember what your base/background/ocean color value was (in most cases its either 128 or 0) so that you can make indentations, gulfs, rivers, etc
as for the stuff not showing up, yeah that's been a bug for a while, i usually suffer with there being very obvious seams between the 6 "sides" of the drawn stuff, which looks super goofy (and is the main reason why i don't use the planet brush too often)

also, how does one get out of a price-softlock? i had to get rid of my first career save because i had gotten broke and literally nothing i had available would be able to fit the ~5k budget, not to mention that you don't earn anything when you're in debt

as for images, you need to use ![](link), in the "link" one you need to get the direct link of an image, i personally use postimages.com but you could use discord, imgur, etc. too, however they will only show once you have over 100 points

i know this is an old post, but i've been upvoting many of the planet posts of some users on the site and as such it might be considered as an "upvote cult", but i upvote them not because i know them or anything, but because i genuinely think they're actually well-made - is this allowed or not?

i'm pretty sure you can technically do that already, simply go into the game's editor and set the engine's fuel type to "Battery", though make sure you adjust everything before because if xou change anything else it will revert back to the normal fuels and you will need to apply it again
EDIT: tried this myself, unfortunately it doesn't work, it makes the thrust and isp and stuff NaN, so yeah, no EV rocket i guess :(

also, just a question and a minor request related to it:
when can we expect to get the update's own page on the blog and releases page? i haven't checked there yet so idk
as for the request, if/when you do make the update page, could a list of all the career mission/contract types and a simple description for them (no strategies or anything, just what it's about) please be added?

you can sort of make a throttleable solid rocket engine, here's how:
    1. take out a standard liquid rocket engine
    2. set up the size, nozzle, etc. beforehand
    3. go into tinker panel (if you have it enabled) and at the bottom there's "edit hidden properties"
    4. on the top arrows, click them until you find RocketEngine or something similar
    5. find the fuel type, replace the "LOX/RP1" (or LH2 or CH4, depending if you use kerolox, hydrolox, or methalox respectively) with "Solid"
    6. click apply, your rocket engine should now use solid fuel
    7. if you wish to change a parameter it will revert it back to normal, so you will need to repeat the process once you're done
