All I can say is that stock docking port has very bad physics model for the docking purpose. You can also try this mod to figure out how much the docking maneuver would have been easier if they used proper physics.
Basically speaking there's no story for goals to fly to the stars. If you play KSP, you have a dumb and simple yet powerful goals: Put the green stupid goblins down on the other planets, plant some flags, and bring them back. That is the sole and most important difference between early-day KSP and SR2.
This is fairly complicated. You can play with them in Planet Studio to find out what they mean. I don't think anybody can explain what they're doing in the comment section clear enough.
@Forwind In released version I put the carbon fiber as a placeholder, but I couldn't have found a credible price of the product :( mainly because it's not yet accessible through a mass market I guess
@zeropol A good idea, however SR2 heat system is not yet matured enough for the waste heat stuff I guess. Yeah, choosing fuel and varying performance is definitely something I want to have.
@zeropol
1. Nope, this mod aims to enhance the reality. Stock game is built with smaller planets, so it nerfs engines and fuel tanks to match the difficulty. This mod is meant to be played with RSS, just like REO.
2. Yes. Set Cylinder Height to 0 and you get a sphere tank.
3. Not at the point, but definitely would make it. Ultimately the material would have more physical parameters including Ultimate Tensile Strength and such and I want to simulate the proper physical properties.
@AndrewGarrison What I meant was a user-modded nozzle, not stock resizable nozzle, if it wasn't clear. I can understand if you implemented some complicated calculations to deal with the stock resizable nozzles. However with a user-modde nozzle I can't understand. Does the game detect model mesh and calculate dimensions?
@NoIDontWanna I apologize if I sound rude. I'm currently writing some mods so I need exact equation or at least something similar to that. I might be able to find the information by decompiling the game source, but having some clue would be greatly helpful.
@theUSSR what are YOU talking about
4.3 years ago@theUSSR and?
4.3 years agoThis reminds me of Ozin the Dronemaster

4.4 years agoThere are only handful of mods (literally) so you can check all the mods in the mods page in 5 mins :P
4.4 years ago@TopSecret2 Droo has same surface air density with Earth.
4.4 years agoAre you thinking of making a mod or making a suggestion?
4.4 years ago@Shemes213 Especially on the parts in designer.

4.6 years ago@Greenmachine but can't make a sphere :P
4.6 years ago@NoIDontWanna isn't it just a overflow?
4.6 years agoCan you work with me to make this real?
+1 4.6 years ago@zeropol Or you can join yourself ;)
4.6 years ago@Greenmachine Why you would put lots of tanks when you can do it with a single part? :D
4.6 years agoI believe
4.7 years agoModApi.Scenes.ISceneManager
do the job. You can do likeif (Game.InFlightScene)
thing@sujun That sounds interesting. I haven't tried this with a program in the part itself, not the command pod.
4.7 years ago@sujun It's not
4.7 years agoDRONE.FlightProgram.T
butCommand Chip.FlightProgram.T
and you didn't define T in Vizzy so it can't do anything@KraZIvan cool!
+1 4.7 years ago@Natedog120705 and kaboom as soon as you ignite an engine :P

4.7 years agoYou changed it to what?
4.7 years agoLaunch a craft, warp time forward to day, quit the flight with saving the progress.
+2 4.7 years agoThat's also a good idea, on the to-do list @QarabinaKa
4.7 years ago@PorkyClown3 Oh
4.7 years ago@PorkyClown3 Since Titanium 50 alloy is not a thing ... I'll gonna take it as Beta Titanium Alloy used in SR-71 :P

I like the idea. However you should post it in "Feedback" forum to make Devs work on it.
+1 4.7 years ago@OldCoach uhm...why? This fuel tank has its own internal rendered, so you don't need to put it inside of a stock fuselage.

4.7 years agoUse 24 fuselage to make a hollow cylinder. Since the cylinder is hollow and made of pieces, you can put a hole on it.

4.7 years ago@AndrewGarrison then how the game determine the nozzle length/diameter with custom nozzles?
