About the placement problem, make sure that the fuel adapter is connected to the surface of the fuel tank and not the bottom node, or symmetry won't work.
Im sure you'll get your problems resolved eventually, if you find a bug that is easily reproducable be sure to report it so the devs can take a look at it.
A small tip on the side the predicted orbit actually shows on the center of the planet you are going to encounter, if you are still inside of the soi of another planet (for example droo).
Its a block based programming language kind of like scratch, which lets you automate your craft with certain functions and actions. For example people have already made hovering and self-landing rockets and even one that can dock to another craft in orbit, without any input.
@Natedog120705 you're probably not gonna survive an impact with 2km/s without parachutes but its reasonable to think that an empty fuel tank with a high drag to mass ratio can slow dow enough to not be fully destroyed.
@nathanmagnus so ive been experimenting a bit and this is what i have so far, it can move, turn around and pick up a cube but its still very rough around the edges and i will keep improving it.
@nathanmagnus sure gonna do some testing later.
About the buttons pedro made clickable buttons that can activate AGs, with the right click on parts to activate them feature this allows really cool interactable cockpits and stuff.
One problem though would be that we cant use mouse movement for looking around.
@NoIDontWanna but if he is getting enough intake air during launch he would also get enough for the rest of the flight so it has to be something else.
@Pedropuglia could you give us a link to an unlisted version so we could take a look at it?
The engines are actually slightly nerfed compared to real life to make up for the smaller sizes.
Let me point you towards RSS
and Realistic engine overhaul
@Natedog120705 in map view and in the game the sun is a 3 dimensional sphere.
Look at the parts when you get to close to the sun, they get to hot and explode because they are subject to the extreme heat created by fusion inside the star.
The temperature of the surface of our sun for example is multiple thousand degrees celsius going up to about 15 million degrees at the center.
And even if you could survive the extreme heat and the crushing pressures you still couldnt land because the sun is made completely out of gas and plasma and doesnt have a solid surface.

+1 4.7 years ago@JastroOne1 cant wait to let my astronauts take a bath in a liquid methane lake, awesome work, as always.
+1 4.7 years agoI normally make it a function of the altitude in such a way that i can easily specifiy at which altitude it should be turned to what angle.

@KraZIvan dv for LEO is more like 8000-9000m/s
+1 4.7 years agoThis might be because they're not connected to the main craft, always check your connections with the part connection editor.
+1 4.7 years agoNice program, but i think you can simplyfy calculating the intended pitch angle by doing:
90 - ((craftASL * targetDeg) / targetASL)
Atleast that worked for me.
+1 4.8 years agoYou can turn them of in your account settings
+1 4.8 years agoIm so ready!
+1 4.8 years agoI think this should be on the front page or the dropdown menu.

+1 4.9 years agoSo... how big is it?
+1 4.9 years ago@sujun you can find it under android/data/com.jundroo.Simplerockets2/files/
+1 4.9 years agoGameData/SolarSystems
@NoIDontWanna the explosion size is actually based on mass so battery makes for the best bombs.
+1 4.9 years agoI dont exactly understand your problem the map view only shows you your orbit prediction nothing automatic about that.
+1 4.9 years agoAre you on mobile or pc?
+1 4.9 years ago@SimplyEasy on a real note though the devs said they want to keep the game purely a sandbox and exploration game without weapons
+1 4.9 years agoNo
+1 4.9 years ago@nathanmagnus so ive been experimenting a bit and this is what i have so far, it can move, turn around and pick up a cube but its still very rough around the edges and i will keep improving it.
+1 4.9 years agoWould it be possible to aquire mouse movement as an input with this?
+1 4.9 years ago@nathanmagnus ok but i dought he has anything against it

Sounds cool, i might be able to make a controllable character with vizzy
+1 4.9 years ago@Dala1 well his most recent video about full flow staged combustion engines and the one about aerospikes are pretty good

Yes, but make sure you have lifting body physics enabled in the settings also the body lift is really weak.

@Natedog120705 what do you mean the sun is a 3d object like all the other planets
+1 5.0 years ago@yopo thanks

+1 5.0 years ago@yopo Just finished the cygnus spacecraft it alone is 700 parts.
+1 5.0 years agoI'll maybe get it done by tomorrow will see.
Just use panels on hinge rotators and set their input to brake
+1 5.0 years ago@yopo yup
+1 5.0 years agoWhen getting close click on the velocity to change it to target velocity and then bring that to zero.
+1 5.1 years ago@Dogfish5550 yeah it cant support the weight of the rocket. I suggest adding custom launch clamps
+1 5.1 years agoyou can use my gimbaling srb for the stages inside the atmosphere.
+1 5.1 years agoWhen activating the nav sphere it shows a white arrow indicating the orientation of the craft. Does it point in the correct direction?
