Hey @LieutenantSOT2, since you’re new here, I can tell you how to have realistic lighting. Go to settings > quality enable image effects, and turn on “High Dynamic Range”, this makes bright objects, such as the sun or a light or the reflection of the sun, have glare depending on if the rocket has a shiny appearance (silver, white, glow in the dark, etc)
google rocket images, try to replicate the image
you can use fuel tanks as cubelike or cylindrical accessories
strangely enough it can help to make the fuel tank have no texture and making your own with physical objects
get into orbit around droo
perform a gravity assist around luna or brigo, to accelerate fast enough to escape droo's gravity (optional, but more efficient)
place a burn node along your spacecraft's heliocentric orbit
the position and delta-v of the burn is highly dependent on your destination
gravity = G x (m ÷ d²) FORMULA SIMPLIFIED FOR YOUR PURPOSES
G is the universal gravitational constant (0.0000000000667430)
m is the mass of the planet
d is the radius of the planet
gravity is the gravity of the planet in meters per second squared (m/s²)
have the TWR be exactly 1 at all fuel levels (unless electric)
to accomplish such a burdensome task:
check thrust
check weight
the thrust must be slightly greater than the weight (because thrust and weight are basically the same and can be measured in newtons)
atmosphere and chamber pressure and fuel type and engine type will affect thrust
universal for all programming languages (pretty sure)
use the greater and less than signs when determining a range example if x < a and x > b then
where x is the number to compare, a and b are min and max, respectively
use an if statement to determine if the angle of the hinge (slider value) is greater than and less than min and max variables
if the hinge is floppy, you need to make a mechanism which limits the hinge, however it will disturb the physics
use the tinker panel to enlarge the part, then scale down the part (and vice versa for thinner inlets)
but that probably wasn't the answer you were looking for
to get a mod onto juno, go to the simplerockets website > content > mods and find one that you want
if you already have a mod, go to the juno game > menu > mods and you can enable/disable certain mods
how many times has the craft exploded during attempts to reach higher?
what celestial object are you launching from?
is the craft bursting from heat damage?
if the craft is very close to the sun, it will increase heat so much that it can glow or explode
hahaha! the game is not asking you to log in, it's telling you to access the devlog!
the devlog is a database for the developers of a software (specifically juno) to see how the computer responded to input. it can show errors, warnings, and other information. it is for debugging purposes, and firing special commands to skip the computer to a certain string of code
users of the software can sometimes access the devlog on certain software to help the developers debug it, but on juno you have to go to settings > controls > developer console
make sure you keep juno open when you receive the "loading save failed! Check log for more info" error
you should send a bug report after you check the log!
delta v determines how fast your spacecraft can go just after you run out of fuel, gravity assists don’t affect delta v
there is a tutorial on how to orbit, click the play button in the main menu and look for the orbit tutorial
well, fuel isn't weightless or massless, and removing some fuel after stage 1 will make the craft lighter and shift its center of mass the editor is calculating the mass/center of mass the exact moment the stage changed, which at that moment you would have probably spent some if not all of the fuel available in that stage

make sure the thrust to weight ratio (TWR) is above 1
+1 1.7 years agoa TWR less than 1 will result in being not having enough thrust for liftoff
it should not drain fuel on 0 throttle, unless a fuel tank is decoupled by an interstage
+1 1.7 years agowell, fuel isn't weightless or massless, and removing some fuel after stage 1 will make the craft lighter and shift its center of mass
