you can play classic droo system by creating a new save and select "classic droo system" or something iirc. Also, old part are not lost, you can find them in website and save it through sub-assemblies
So basically first you need to add Get position set to Y (i believe), then the data flow goes to remap (curve) with the remap goes like sine wave or something. Then add the remap (curve) with a noise using basic arithmetic (A + B), this is for detail (you can add many noise, if you want, but you need to connect those noise with another basic arithmetic). After those two data were added, add clamp and color blend. Give all of those modifier an EnabledWithSymbols = CUBEMAP
@JanusIndustries Stars, Asteroid, Planets, etc are made using the Celestial Body Editor. So the technique to make a star is same as making a planet or other celestial body, only star is larger and glows. Also though it's good to learn how to make a star on your own but using other user made star and examine how those are made greatly increase the understanding about star creation. So to simplify, use other people creation and learn from it.
Making star is like making planet. You can download user made star and learn how to make one. Keep in mind other "stars" in multiple star system actually doesn't emit light to its planet. All planet light come from the central star only.
for question number 3, yea go on, no one going to stop you for having your freedom and please don't stress too much on finishing the system. I suggest you to try spending your time on a single planet project rather than system and you can pour all ideas you want on that single planet, perhaps you'll learn something new doing this and increase the quality of your planet.
Just asking if you still have some (if not all) celestial body that you have created during the old account era? either in your device or somewhere else.
Only the central star emit light and every celestial body face the central star. But you can make the other star 'glow' by increasing the biome color intensity or emissiveness or terrain atmosphere "max color". I'd suggest you don't use the stock star template and use other player made star or make your own.
If you're on Mobile, enable 'desktop site' on your browser and click download. It should redirect you to the game and wait for it to complete. If you're on PC, i believe the button already there and you can just click download i guess. Downloaded Celestial Body automatically saved and can be seen on PlanetStudio 'Load Planet'
i believe there's invisible barrier that destroy your craft at certain altitude, just like tydos and urados. if you want to get there better pack a heat shield or tinkered craft cause it's above warm.
It is on the 'Flight Info Panel' (rectangular taskbar looking icon on the right side of the screen), Scroll down and you see slider to change the heat damage and physical damage (Sandbox Only).
To access PlanetStudio you need to go Settings > Control > 3 Dots on the top right corner > Click "open Dev console" > Type "PlanetStudio" > Execute. Learning can be steep so i suggest looking for tutorial on YouTube. Also keep in mind that mobile PlanetStudio isn't fully supported.
yea it's already released for mobile, iirc i believe IOS has limited amount of beta 'seats' so if it's already full you'll need to wait until official launch.
I've seen some game with its name changed before, yea it might create confusion but if the devs feels better with the new name then I don't mind. im all for new app logo and stuff.

You can use other noise type, different remap value, different strength/frequency and whatnot.
