@Airdead I'm sad to hear that. We have implemented hundreds of user suggestions, with the main one being Career Mode, which has taken a long, long time. I'm sorry to hear you don't find any value in the game because there is no star travel.
@Airdead on a personal note, I like space exploration but find interstellar travel particularly dull. Going in a straight line surrounded by nothing for hours feels a bit pointless, and misses the point of what this game is about in my opinion.
@Airdead we do read comments, but it's hard to justify answering someone that has been spamming so hard my discord DMs and pinging me all over the site. I would appreciate if you could stop doing it.
.
That said, we decided not to support multiple stars, which simplified many things. Since the game has been long built under the assumption that it should only support one star it isn't feasible to add that feature.
.
Of course, there's always room for a mod to try to implement it, but it isn't going to be supported in the stock game unless we change our minds in that regard, which is unlikely.
@XionmassResearchDevt overthink it as much as you want. I'm a fan of the Hot Ones, the YouTube show that sells the "Last Dab" hot sauce. In the show the sauce is used for the last cuestion. This was the last early access update, thus the last dab. Even the bottle is in the thumbnail as already pointed out! I just removed the name from the bottle to have less risk of infringing any copyright.
@DrooMulticompany do you know where to find the folder with the game files? Crafts and the like. If so you should see a file called Player.log (or just Player if the extensions are hidden). Can you send me the file over discord?
@FelixFan1 I have plenty meditation, but that's not something you should be concerned about. Telling someone to "tell you something you don't know" out of nowhere is rude and totally out of place. You've pushed the rules many times, instead of coming up with funny replies you should start listening.
@LandedBooster you can set it up manually like in the stock raised launch pad, there's no justification to spend the resources necessary to have a very complex system to bend the exhausts
@Utkin 30m/s is an insanely strong collision, that's close to the max legal speed on highways in some countries. We are going to raise the threshold more, but not that much, for such situations you can change your game settings or use the tinker panel.
@Toinkove We got the formula from this paper's section 2.3, the equation is 2.3.1. Looking at the only real comparison I could find, the rutherford engine, which has a thrust close to what you mention, uses 37kW, which in turn would need a 2.16MJ battery, so if that wikipedia article is correct we are way off! I'll look further into this soon, thanks for the headsup
This first update will be only available for Steam on the experimental branch. To join the Steam beta right-click SimpleRockets 2 in the Steam client -> Properties -> Betas -> and then select experimental from the dropdown. Make sure to backup your local files, this is in the experimental branch for a reason, theres a decent chance of old crafts breaking, so be careful.
Once we have fixed all the bugs (I'm sure some will come up with how many things we changed this time) we will move to a non experimental beta, including mobile platforms, that will come with some additional features. As stated in the post, it should take between one or two weeks, but things can change.
@SethTheEngineer I'm not fully understanding what you mean, could you make a bug report with a detailed explanation of what's going on? Report it from the designer while using the craft that is causing the problem, please.
@QinSheng well, the lack of a reply proves my point. We don't answer all bug reports but have settings you don't see to track them (priority, what dev is assigned to it...), as you can imagine we have higher priority bugs to fix and features to add, Jundroo is a very small company with limited resources, and the solution to that isn't spamming the webpage.
I know that some bugs can be annoying and frustrating, as you know I've also been a player for a long time before becoming a dev, but that doesn't justify being annoying to other people.
@PasonJawulo that's why at first those pads had no particles. I asked the community in discord and they suggested having particles on the center was better than not having them, so I added particles. It's a shame that they can't move but that makes it so users can move them around and customize their properties, it's hard to evaluate the pros and cons and sadly it will never be the perfect solution for everyone
@SomeRando @MirazAerospace @Vedhaspace
We take into consideration player suggestions, so if you think something is missing in the roadmap, check the suggestions page and, if it has already been suggested upvote the idea and if not, make a new suggestion.
Anything suggested in these comments will be lost for obvious reasons.
@Operacon that's not a bug, the parameters for the capsules are automatically calculated by the game. If you think the game should allow overriding any parameter through xml you can always submit a suggestion.
@Indianspaceprogram @Tweedle_Aerospace we have an educational version that is free, if you are in a school, highschool or university ask your teachers/professors to consider getting them as a tool to teach physics, programming...

+1 1.9 years ago@LegendsYT2804 using the same argument, how do weapons play in favour of simplicity?
+1 2.1 years ago@lordvader0219 with heat damage enabled you should burn relatively quickly, and also start getting drag. The sun corona is pretty high up irl
+1 2.1 years ago@AshwintheElon are you sure you are trying to download it while logged into the account that you used to purchase the game?
+1 2.1 years ago@DrooMulticompany do you know where to find the folder with the game files? Crafts and the like. If so you should see a file called Player.log (or just Player if the extensions are hidden). Can you send me the file over discord?

+1 2.2 years ago@AshwintheElon no
+1 2.2 years ago@NeptuneX no
+1 2.2 years ago@3To1 thinkpads, windows 8 and notepad++, what a combo hahaha
+1 2.3 years ago@3To1 dude, how can you work on notepad ++! That's pure pain
+1 2.3 years ago@yousef1208 that comment was absolutely unnecessary and out of place. For this reason, it's been removed it.
+1 2.3 years ago@XionmassResearchDevt nobody is ghosting you

+1 2.4 years ago@RamenNoodlesXVII what should be fixed in the website?
+1 2.4 years ago@SpacecoastCorp we already have an education program, but the outreach is what it is

+1 2.5 years ago@Oxide can you submit abug report while flying the craft?
+1 2.5 years ago@DrooMulticompany @Thunderstorm5796 that was a bug, already reported, already implemented, fix coming with 915
+1 2.5 years ago@crowxe if you experience a bug, please report it, otherwise we won't be able to do anything about it.
+1 2.6 years ago@AstroAerospace how are they broken? The wing snap should be disabled by default on existing planes

@GG228 it should first deplete all the fuel and then keep running when the tanks are all empty
+1 2.8 years ago@GSpace thanks for the heads-up! Sadly there's not much we can do about it other than wait for the service provider to fix it.
+1 3.0 years ago@Armand9x any example? If you ever find that you can report those comments
+1 3.1 years ago@PROXINSAAN if you want to run high part count crafts, lower your quality settings. The lighting should be identical on both bases.
+1 3.2 years ago@SethTheEngineer I'm not fully understanding what you mean, could you make a bug report with a detailed explanation of what's going on? Report it from the designer while using the craft that is causing the problem, please.
+1 3.2 years ago@Space_XL in this case you'd have to argue with google and apple, which is even harder xd
